  1. definatly the pick of the litter
  2. an air pistol should do the job. put the pellet in back to front though. Try these guys for traps. Always had good service http://www.fourteenacre.co.uk/ Good luck, but you may find that those traps end up permanent fixtures
  3. I've always used fenn traps with plenty of success, but last year bought some body grip traps (110's). All I've caught in them is one rat, a young moorhen and my bloody fingers! They have been sited in tunnels on runs and waters edges where fenns in the same area are catching. So I'm at a loss as to where I am going wrong. Any tips would be great fully received. they get one last chance before they go to the back of the shed with the monarch cage traps! Cheers, Trench
  4. they look a handy type. If the dishwasher broke
  5. I'm in agreement on this one, but, there has been a few who have had spaniels crosses before, yet how many have had a second? And how easy would it be to find homes for a litter of "out of the norm" types?
  6. you know thats never going to happen. That lot pi## in the same pot.
  7. Different terrain and climate. I thought of British coursing dogs first but maybe a line of salukis or saluki bred that are already doing it in the States might be better. Something like the hounds that dirtwinger runs http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/311998-hunting-hares-from-horseback-with-falcon-and-sighthounds/ enough saluki hybrids from the uk gone back to hotter, drier climates and done well
  8. The mummy dog got a special cuddle off the daddy dog
  9. these 2 never attracted any unwanted attention. But the one stood up, was a good old bag filler.

    Musto

I've had a Musto Whisper jacket for the last 8 years. No complaints, but I've only worn it for game shooting. Not leaked as such to date. Just bought the new Keepers jacket and for me it ticks all the right boxes for an all round field coat
  11. Nomad is great stuff. dont leak, dont need reproofing, warm and confy to wear. The downside is that they do hold water, if you forget to give them a shake every so often and take a lot of drying after. Have a look at the new Musto keepers jacket. Tough, waterproof and has ALL the features for a good shooting/beating jacket.
  12. Forgot I'd taken this. on the camera screen, it just looked black
  13. a new prospect for the coming seasons, learning the ropes from an old hand.
  14. Asking a high price will deter folk who are going to make the same mistake "Awe, a fluffy puppy and it's free" which is not going to benefit the pup at all. Asking for £200 might generate genuine folk and after discovering genuine folk the person could then say "it's free as I'd rather it went to a proper home"It all depends on how responsible the owner is, genuine reason for rehoming or can't be arsed and wants their money back (and a bit more at that price). The owner needs to grow some. If they can't look after a dog, what hope have they got witha child
  15. Feed that fecker feet first through the mincer. Slowly Then the rest of his cronies
  16. sweeping statement that. Just'cos they are not all battle scared, with half a droopy jaw, don't mean they don't graft. And seeing as it's only rabbits and rats these days, nobody in their right mind would post pictures of dogs they own today that would incriminate themselves
  17. nice dogs how's the cream one bred 3 gen half cross, give or take
  18. must take some new pics as this ones been up before this one isn't quite that bully
  19. Starter for 10, 2.4 Lbs This buggers been eating the rats out the fenn traps over the last week.
