true, but the story is one thing, getting pressure on the RSPCA to let Dymented see his dogs and get them back is the priority. As the RSPCA have no legal powers, why not report them to another animal welfare charity and get them to seize the dogs off them
  2. You were stood on the scales right? think he weighed himself on a gate!
  3. I had one a few years back. 50 % pies, 50% Tetleys bitter. Asked for a second opinion as I had eaten some broccoli by mistake that week!

have the countryside alliance been informed about this case. whether your a member or not, it is in their best interest to act in cases of lawful hunting. or are they still trying to find their teeth?
  5. Lamping used to be the be all and end all for me, but mooching daytime you'll learn more about your ground and your dogs. Night time you'll catch more, but it's not the be all and end all. Hope the new job works out for you Gaz
  6. If you want to know what they will look to trap you on check out the website http://huntingact.org
  7. 50% of the dogs I've known to have been on it for most of their lives have died of gastric tumours of some sort. Most dogs when they have come off it and gone onto more "sensible" complete meal have had an improvement in behaviour/temperament even if the new diet is higher in protein. Non of the above is based on published science, just observations over the last 20 years
  8. lol, I heard it gave em wings!Don't know about that, but it certainly has 'em bouncing off the walls! Lol
  9. Bakers is absolute shite. The contents beggar belief. And the occurrence of tumours in dogs fed on it is high. Don't even get me started on the behavioural problems when they are fed it, it's like giving kids blue smarties. When I see anyone buying it in a shop, I stop and explain how bad it is for their dogs

I mentioned this to a lady who takes in rescue cats. She has now cancelled her £10 standing order to the RSPCA. She had no idea of the scale of their malpractice.

  16. What a twat !!Why come out with shit like that because it's true Half true" there's bell ends with both
  17. I'm all for testing a dogs capabilities, and pushing the envelope is part of that. However to me my dogs are my work mates, not tools. If your dog is an honest worker and you are honest with yourself about its abilities, then you should be a happy man. It's far easier to carry an empty game bag with a clear conscience than a dead dog with a shattered ego. Just my thoughts
  18. she must have been a stunner if you didnt notice her height and weight Ray!
  19. Is he looking for a pot to lick under that container?
  20. Cheers fella, he is a bit of a lump, but rarely gets any time off for bad behaviour. in fact time off makes him one grumpy fecker
  21. Yes I would agree... The original thread starter, has asked the question,.but personally, I would not use a Greyhound over a Sheepdog.... I much prefer to utilise a fast type of lurcher, as opposed to a pure race track dog... Mind you,..when line breeding Collie crosses,..there is often a throw back. She waits quietly in the wings,..so ya best be ready Amazingly enough, if you are only a hedgerow hunter and don't require a lurcher to do 'other tasks',..these blasts from the past ,often work out incredibly well, and are they talked about,.. for years to come... not wrong
  22. Cheers Ray, Black dogs a bit slack at the mo, needs the rest. But he doesnt know that!
