I was fishing the tidal Exe years back, I hooked a salmon on the stick float and the thing went Beserk up and down the river me chasing behind like a mad man until enventually it snapped me up.. Well as I sat back a voice behind me said " unlucky mate" I turn round and there's a salmon angler and I can see he's carrying a fish, it was silhouetted so couldn't see what... I ask him what've you caught there, he says I don't know mate I'm taking it home for the cat!! I clamber up the bank and it's a chub, must be at least 5lb, I call him a prick and tell him how old a fish like that would be etc

Nice one Bry, you've came down and your living the dream lol.. Had a couple of bass on Friday night, no real size, and a few mackerel on Sat night... Seen the shoals chasing the Brit around... I just free lined live eel, waited for the shoal to come within casting range and flicked the eel amongst them, it was nice fishing like that... More fun than dragging a load of feathers anyway... Sat it out then on the crab at dark but not a touch.. How you getting on down there, I'd imagine the bass are coming steady now with this warm spell?

Fin Mccools in Teingmouth is good, capels in Exmouth too.. There was a Caples in Exeter, not sure if its still running, but I don't remember that one you mentions FOD.. The bear?? Dogs looking good Andy, and the scenery is stunning...that high path walk sound a bit much though.. I took a mate a long a high coastal path near Lynmouth ( north Devon), I didn't know how bad he was with heights he was basically crawling at times... I tried to be supportive through the laughter and piss taking lol

I know jack shit about computers ( and not a lot about aids for that matter)... But I do know I fcking hate windows 8, just got a new laptop for work and it drives me fcking mental...
