  8. Not sure if you've been to Albuquerque mate, but i think you'd like it . Quite laid back for a big city, but a real old world feeling, lots of Mexican and Native American archives, old Soamish feel etc... the Old Town is history rich, really worth a walk around, a few too many "tat" shops, but loads of original indian work, had a good yap with an Indian who made jewelery, was from the Hopi tribe, explained to me the old battle with Spanish settlers that the Indians won and took.the horses, 1700s, this was the start of the indian horses they breed..

Thanks for the info Mack Yeah, that's kind of the outline plan, looking to get to Santa Criz and spend 5 days driving highway 1 down the Pacific coast... got to see Big Sur, so will need a few stops ..never know I might be able to cast a line in the Pacific and the Atlantoc on the same holiday...catching a fish in the Pacific would be the icing on the cake lol

Got to say its beem amazing mate, we've not planned anything really, wake up and head in a general direction and see where we land..was meant to be in Amirrilo last night, but got there and decided against it, we'd had a couple of warnings, and it looked....we'll not appealing lol... got back in the truck abd done another decent drive to Albuquerque, ended up staying here again tonight as we loved to old town today, much more native American and Mexican like...we booked a small bnb this morning, lovely little place all done out with Native American themes. 12. We've done some miles since we left Fort Worth on Sunday morning.. Stayed in the Wichita mountains, small place called Medicine Park, full of old history.. had a few beers in the local bar with a proper character, no teeth and wearing a raccoon hat, told me that the previous landlord shot a man dead in the bar as he came in waving a gun about, looked at my feet and said "he dropped dead right where your standing" lol... he was born and raised in a small town 15 miles up the road, proper wild west country.. was a complete wreck head, but great company for a couple of hours.. Moved on

  20. Stayed in South Louisana last night, cajun country, beautiful place. Managed to have a little fish this morning as we stayed in a cabin on a small lake, lost a fish which jumped and shook the hook, looked like a large mouth bass to me.. This was lake Martin last night at sunset, proper swamp country, 1200 alligators in this lake reportedly.. 21. Well plans changed slightly, we stayed in Alabama and drove down to the gulf coast, stayed a night in Birmingham and spent some time in the civil rights museum, interesting place abd we were the only people in there, was a bit eerie tbh, in fact Birmingham was very quiet for a big city.. headed down to Bayou le Batre, was where Forest Gump on the shrimping boat was filmed, Waylon said it was the only place in Alabama any filming for the film was done, was exactly how we expected it to be, beautiful..but was disappointed with the seafood, shrimps weren't good and gumbo was OK... to be honest o
  22. Was randomly listening to a radio show here as we were driving yesterday, it was a Christian station based in Memphis, was pretty funny to us as there views were,in our world, extreme abd they weren't afraid to say it. There were 4 presenters in a talk type show, obviously very pro Trump and pro the clamp down on illegal immigration.. all of them said the woman put herself in the situation and if she had acted accordingly to the law would still be alive, ie. Turn off rhe vehicle and obey command... im not condoning the killing of someone, as in our world that is extreme, but a lot if people ha
