I was born in 76 Gnash, so to be honest the first heavyweight that grabbed my attention was Tyson, I was 9 or 10 when he beat Berbick and still remember it vividly, watched with my dad and brother...I probably got a decent run of it from 85/86 and through the 90s...but by god that 10 years of the Klitckos was awful, would send a glass eye to sleep...I seriously can't remember many of the fights, perhaps Haye beating Valuev only for sheer novelty factor really though... See a lot more peregrine's, as a kid was an amazing sight for me, had one dive on our tumbler pigeons once, never connected with any and a few went into a tumble/roll as it dived, no idea if that was just chance or design, but it looked pretty good! Lol Brother lives in Exmouth and is watching a pair of peregrines nesting in the cliff edge there, starting to take pigeons etc back now... Nice sight on the evening dog walk .

Same here Arry, was same sort of time and flew over the house, I rang a mate and he said there was a nesting pair seen in a woodland near Dunchideok, not far from me and I've a big lump if permission up there, I've never seen any pairs though, just one solitary bird but in 2 occasions

I've got to agree with Mchull that the past 10 years have been marginally better than the previous 10 years...that Klitcscho era seems like a distant bad dream, surely the time between 2004 and 2014 must be the worst in history... Regards everything else, of course the 70s is head and shoulders above, before my time but I've tried to watch as much of that era as possible .. remember the late 80s and 90s well, and for me that's the best in my lifetime... I don't think any of the current mob would stand with half of the 70s or 90s champions or contenders...

Like everything they will spread as the population grows and they need to find new territories for nesting sites and food ..I'm sure you'll see them in Dorset and theyll be in Devon making a racket!

My uncle says the same, he hates them, they are in plague proportions up your way mate, a novelty to see for a day or 2 for us but I would imagine the racket they make would get right on your tits

Same here mate, only seen red kite twice down here but loads of buzzards, but travel along the M4 and as soon you pass Swindon it's all red kites and less buzzards.. same with those parakeets around London, i remember 20 odd years ago seeing a couple of them at my uncles in Surrey and being fascinated by them, now they are everywhere up there, you see more of them than pigeons! Some animals really prosper kites are certainly one of them, from a few releases and feeding stations to thousands of them...

End of year accounts showed we spend far too much on hired in plant ..so got some new toys that will save us a fortune and pay for themselves in 12 months ..I'm a mug not doing it sooner Couple of scissor lifts coming today...

Seriously mate it's not worth the hassle of posting about anything hunting related with dogs if you're in the UK, yes rabbits are still legal in England but now banned in Scotland, it is better to keep quiet and keep at it imo .... Unfortunately some of the things posted on social media/forums are used against lads that hunt, you wouldn't post about robbing a house yet lads post about killing shit with dogs that is illegal, whether we like it or not, it's a shit situation but best kept to talking about in private not on here

To be honest Charts, there is only so much you can say about catching rabbits, if you openly post about other things youre a bit of a fool imo...so obviously the hunting side of the forum takes a bit of a knock, which is a shame... We used to post loads on our days/nights out but in the end it gets a bit repetitive and I don't think people are interested in reading it so much... It leaves us talking about standard men topics, I've always thought its a good forum as everyone is like minded, I've met some great lads off here and a few are now good friends of mine, because we share the same

I agree with you, I think he does all the work a CF should do and is a very good finisher, if Callum Wilson could stay fit you lads would have 2 very good centre, proper centre forwards at the club

Yeah was pretty good mate, we had a day out with some locals ended up spear fishing on a nice off shore reef, cooked what we caught on the beach, was a great day/night ended up with a big group of locals eating fish off the drum BBQ, drinking rum punch and listening to music, they were decent lads. I've got one of their numbers and he said to call him next time we were over and he takes us out on his boat offshore fishing, better than any of the hotel lined up tours that's for sure, that's not really my thing...

Mine and my brother's business... A little end of business year treat to ourselves lol I've been to Barbados, and St Lucia in the past, we really liked Antigua though, very chilled .. I take a rod and bag of lures and fish every morning, loads of snorkelling then maybe a rum or 2 lol
