I don’t think I’m modern times a dog living wild would last long without it being noticed it living wild it’d either die of starvation or be killed on the road or shot an rolled in to a ditch. Think half the problem is people see what people put on here as face value (can’t go wrong with a beddy whippet) they see that an there sold but In reality you can go completely wrong with a f1 beddy/whippet if you want a dog for running stuff down what it finds rather than a bushing type o dog. I think what you pay or what you feed is up to you I only really feed one dog good now days the old un is mainly biscuit fed with the odd bit of meat I remember when it was very economical to feed raw food it was 2 a penny for all sorts i had 4 dogs on the go at one point I don’t think raw nows that economical if your buying in. I still take on a few cockerels a year an cull them for dog food an fallen ewes if there’s no meds in them I still buy a bit tripe duck necks but other than that it’s from the field or human grade meat plus table scraps

Them prices are for people who are easily misled if there stupid enough to pay them prices for a bag of food with a name more fool them they deserve to be fooled my misses mum keeps Saint Bernards they get the best brand name foods these feckers get through some grub she orders half pallet load of food for em but moans of the feed cost I tell her there fat c**ts you feed them to much

I don’t live a million miles away the people I heard with a opinion are normally ex Londoners that have moved from the city to live rural they complain about everything rural from the sound of cockerels crowing in the distance to a bit of mud on the roads. what there hating is there’s more traffic heading to his farm/shop there still in a rush like they live in the city most people who live round the area are not fussed we think it’s great his farm an his shop because it’s good for the area even better when they take part in a charity Christmas tractor run raising money for a local charity…….C

This year because of having the chickens I put there run on one of the raised beds added straw an leafs as a litter for them to scratch an till in to the ground I’ve done it as a little experiment I had them on there for 30 days an just kept adding leafs
