I was speaking with a surveyor yesterday He recon down our way (Oxford) there just dishing the planning permission out with little to no objections on land if it’s within reason an not completely ridiculous applications. I had a good chat with him about a few things I’ve been thinking about for the future. I understand up the dales it’d be a bit different to get planning

If I had land I’d make it beneficial to me I’d grow as much veg an rear animals for the table that I eat I’d also camp on the land using the 28day rule in the mean time but I’d also put stables on it as it’d be easy to get planning for a concrete pad foundation and because of type of use of building you could get running water an electrical hook up fitted under the planning application of use Id keep it as stables for the time being till the window allows then I’d get planning to convert the stables in to a dwelling to live in as the application of use can be changed ?I’d then convert the stab

I shan’t be waisting my time voting.complete waist of my time none of them do what they pledge to do all they care about is getting there seat/place an pay packet so they can lie and under handing us the general public working class by extracting more money out of us in some way we fall for it every time there’s voting we think there going to make a difference to our lives for the better but sadly it never happens

Didn’t know that mate I’ve not sat down an worked it all out cost wise but at £10 for a good quality home reared meat bird that’s had a good life an reared on quality feeds an had some sort of standard of life don’t sound to bad tbh

Reading this has left me positive mood for the day a head good lads!! I personally think there should be a hell of a lot more justice served like this in prisons I also think the abuser needs a couple more rounds with the tins of tuna an hopefully death with a bit of luck.
-
Probably mate but if your rearing a decent number I’m guessing you can bring the price down per bird if you work out correctly what you need ie feed instead of buying single bags of food at farm store price an buy in per tone plus bulk buying shavings/straw

We get a few meals off a chicken then boil the carcass the broth is used for the dogs we get our money worth out of them

Fancy having a go at doing my own meat birds but space/land is the deal breaker for me. I could probably do batches of 6-8 birds in a movable chicken tractor over the lawn but wouldn’t work out economical to do that because I’d of eaten the first lot before the second batch is done an ready to harvest plus 6-8 birds takes the same time in daily chores that say 40 or 50 birds would Id have to work harder for longer throughout the better months an in to late autumn just to produce what I think I’d need to feed our family but if i could do the higher number I’d only have to do a couple of batches

I eat a lot of chicken but can’t eat it plain un seasoned or unmarinated I probably eat chicken for dinner 5nights a week it’s my main meat I don’t eat pork as a rule but do like a nice bit of bacon I like a bit of beef an lamb. I know chicken welfare is bad an I’m apart of the problem buying it but do tend to go for the better chicken if I can. I have been thinking of having a go at rearing my own meat birds it’s something I’d like to do my only problem is I’ve not got the land to do a decent number to make it worth while

Only news I follow is what comes up on the Google news feed but the headlines need to catch my eye first.I don’t read a newspaper or watch the tv as it’s depressing as feck as no news is good news

I’ve had my 3 layers 6nearly 7months I’ve used one bag of feed an just started another bag a week ago the feed I use is small holder free range it cost me £8 a bag from the local farm an general supplys I get 6 eggs average off each hen a week x 3 =18 eggs a week In 28weeks I’ve had 504 eggs from the 3 just by that bit of simple mathematics lol I can tell there worth the 1 bag of feed second bag I’m in to at the moment I can’t work out why supermarkets won’t pay farmers who farm for eggs the correct money if there selling for the price supermarkets sell eggs for or increasing there selli

Bad doo ain’t it it’s almost as if it’s a part of a larger scale long term plan to rid the uk of farming an have it a country that buys in all its products so the land can be used for housing

A negative mind set creates a negative outcome. I’m guilty of being negative sometimes like we all are or sounding negative but definitely more negative thinking in my younger days as I had no worldly experience than now I like to think im a wise head on youngish shoulders now days im all about the positive vibe in my orbit im not afraid to tell people if there constant negativity is making me feel negative or depressing listening to there negativity I tell them straight im not in to listening to that shit or I offer them the flip side of there negativity to look at from a different point o

I’ve had pups destroy the house if we have gone out for a couple of hours as a family the funniest I’ve had is a pup eat it’s way through the side of the sofa an when coming home the pup be in the sofa fast asleep my misses hit the roof I laugh at stuff like that my misses thinks I’ve a screw loose I just tell her you can’t correct a pup if the damage as already been done it’s to late you can only correct if you catch them doing the damage I just say stuff like I didn’t like that sofa anyway it’s all materialistic stuff anyway I’ve always ended up with dogs that are respectful to materialistic

I think it’d be interesting for farmers an supermarkets to openly publish there outgoing to produce an buy the products an profit margins I personally think it’d make it clear from a consumer point of view but i can pretty much guess that supermarkets would only want to be paying about 5p per egg or less But selling for 20 odd pence a cage bird produced egg were as the farmers profit margin is a lot slimmer I personally don’t have to worry about buying eggs we keep our own hens for eggs we keep 3 hens an get a average of 18 eggs a week sometimes more.

I see this today on a news feed supermarkets like Morrisons,Aldi,Tesco, sainsburys still trying to shaft farmers/producers the prices gone up on electricity, feed, water but don’t want to pay farmers to make it worthwhile for them to continue farming but they still profit off selling there products greatly we’re as producers take the brunt off it supermarket chains take the piss

The original reports said so going back it must be 15yrs ago shocking ain’t it

I still can’t get my head round the parents druging the kids for them to sleep why they go out an partied on holiday in my eyes that’s child neglect an abuse but I personally think this whole case stinks to high heaven I also think they got no evidence of nothing so it’s a case of pin the tail on the donkey the authorities have got to be seen to be doing something so there’s no better way than to charge someone as a suspect they have no more evidence now than they did 15yrs ago. It’d be nice to believe the kids safe an well but I don’t personally think that’s the case. There is ways of extract
