I’ve kept dogs in an out over the years it makes no difference to workability there pros an cons to both one of my only hates was with foxing dogs is having to wash them down thoroughly after a night out or there stink the house out of fox think that’s the last thing you want to be doing after a night out but other than that no problems in or out

heard on the radio this morning we’re officially in a recession. I work in the building trade I’ve heard a few lads saying it’s coming recently. I’ve spoken to one of the contract managers I get on well with he recons we’re be alright till January then it will start to slow down an there only be pulling housing association an sold housing out the ground.

We had a mink farm by us in the 90s activist let the lot go completely decimated the wild life in our area it never has recovered to what it once was there’s still a few mink kicking about but no we’re near as many as there was. Something I’ve found with f1 beddy whippets was they were to slow for me due to there size an the size of land I was trying to lamp with them at the time but as a ferreting dog or mooching about dog there spot on and easy to live with I’ve had a right good laugh with all different % of beddy whippets over the years. My last beddy whippet died out about 4yrs ago. It’s kind of ironic as I never really had a lot to say about beddy whippets bar they were to slow for me the ironic thing is when any of the bigger dogs were banged up or in the sick bay who was always the go to dog……that’s right the b

I personally think raw feed prices have gone mental I used to pretty much fill two chess freezers for £80 of a good mix of raw foods I used to buy in as it was all waist products it was cheap as chips then everyone (the pet market) jumped on the raw feed band wagon an drove the prices up to a extent that shit they couldn’t give a way now cost a premium some of the stuff now it’s cheaper to buy human grade stuff I now longer run big freezers for dog foods I no longer keep multiple dogs so I no longer have to keep a stock of raw I buy just a bit of green tripe now I take a couple of fallen old b

I ain’t had a bench grinder for years since giving up my little garage/work shop I just use a Mikita battery grinder now days for most jobs like making stuff or the yearly sharpen of the splitting axe ? gunner be making a hatchet for making kindle soon got a small axe head that’s beaten up that I picked up from a car boot and a nice bit of timber waiting to be turned to a handle up the shed ready for when winter comes an I’ve got nothing on so I can make a start I’m gunner make it a Viking style axe

I like the sound of Mali x greyhound that would be a cross Id of loved to have tried just to be different for all rounder use but to be honest I don’t think they’d offer anything different than any normal lurcher bred for all rounder use -

Bit early for me as well mate I normally brave it out. Same got all my logs stacked up plus bags an bags of kindle ready to go but loads of shit wood I’ve cut I like burn first I save all the decent seasoned logs for them long winter nights because I buy them in ?? 140£ a large trailer load from my local farm supply’s they always hook me up a proper load
