McRae definitely set the standard for Subaru in the early 90s I was thinking the other day if McRae didn’t die when he did what would rallying be like today as he was working on that prototype car the r4 that looked a interesting bit of kit

I love classic cars I used to do a lot of spanner work on a lot of classics an full restorations on vw campers an beetles the last car I built my self was the little mini below she was a bear shell nut an bolt modified rebuild she had a 1310cc engine i built it as a full blown race engine minus a straight cut gear box she produced 100hp on the rollers it doesn’t sound a lot in today standard but a 100hp in a car that’s weighs as much as a box of maches she was a proper little ripper!
  9. Burn it with hell fire!
  10. Can’t beat a nice coffee used to love lattes from costa/greggs/Starbucks but there bloody expensive with the amount I used to drink when on the road I’d average about 4-5 a day I rarely buy coffee now from these places I tend to make my self a instant coffee in a thermos cup for the drive to work but recently found out I’m lactose intolerant so can’t really be going to mad buying coffees plus there black coffees taste like shit
  11. Wasn’t he originally arrested because of a picture of him mucking about with his ex bird that he had his hand raised or something. Then when he was arrested before his bird was even questioned someone from the tabloids was offering her a 100k for a story to say Andrew was nocking her about
  12. I personally think Andrew Tate is not guilty of anything just having a big mouth. I think the problem is the powers that be can’t have this man with the platform he’s got telling people his opinions of what he sees as truth and that many others do. I personally think he’s being forced in to silence because look how he’s talked about covid 19,feminist movement, climate change going on pod cast an stuff…..he’s f***ing with a lot of governments money

  15. There mad them net bags from garages biggest rip off going.my stove ain’t the biggest it’s a 5kw flavel stove longest log I can get on mines 12 inches long most logs I got in my load are 8-10inch I’m guessing the farm supply cut them off a marker jig so they can cater for most stove sizes. Bet your make a few quid selling logs across the canal network gotta be worth a punt ??
  16. I bought a load of logs in this year just for ease i was being lazy I payed £150 a trailer load from the local farm supply although they looked after me with the load I got but I’d still rather burn the free stuff in my eyes it burn’s better ?only because it’s free an I’ve become a tight git I hate spending money that I don’t really have to spend any more.
  17. I like Andrew Tate he makes some very good points about some of the thing’s going on in the world.
  18. I hear on the radio a lot of energy, fuel and supermarkets boasting of there profits an in the next breath there saying there’s gunna be increases coming for one reason or another it’s all just another way of shafting us the working class. I’ve made a few cut backs I switched the boiler off as I don’t need it no more it’s cheaper to boil a kettle if I need hot water to do the washing up but I’ve always got a kettle on the log burner going. I also just put £30 in the family car every couple of weeks my misses walks to work now unless it’s raining we try an use the car less. shopping wise we set
  19. Great post. Used to ride an muck abound bikes when I was a young lad had all manner of field bikes some stolen off some poor sods that I’m not proud of I never stole them my self but they’d come our way via deals or cheapness so we’d buy them to frash about then once they were dead bin them. Had a road legal bikes couple of 50cc mopeds a Ar 50 an a dt50mx then had a good few 125s I’ve had a mk1 rd 125 a couple of tzr 125s a dtr125 the dt125 was my favourite for a 125 she was a flying machine with her power valve pegged open on an off road think that’s why I liked it so much because you could

  22. Always see ambulances parked up outside greggs they always seem to be taking it easy they don’t seem that in a rush or rushed off there feet they just cruise about but when they see a red traffic light ? they get the lights going until they passed the lights
  23. Charity starts at home for me I do not donate nothing to these organisations as there a business not a charity. If I see someone who’s my country man/woman who’s fell on hard times an needs a leg up to get going I’ll help them if there genuine but bag heads offering the ex servicemen line get feck all
