  1. What type of lurcher are you now getting?
  2. Fun times ahead. Keep us dated with some pics of pup as it gets older
  3. Cheap that. My dog had similar early December, vet gave two injections, some fluids, then did some blood tests and put her on drip, her kidneys slowly gave up and I had to have her put down. Ended up she had seasonal K9 illness, but that's usually around Autumn time.
  4. I start by just throwing what ever, down the hall way in the house, so they have to come back past you and there's no other distractions, then move on from there, lots of teasing and tug of war.
  5. My pup, now 14 months was a sod for whining when I first got her, took a long while for her to stop, at worst she would end up howling like a bloody wolf, this was in the house with the other dogs. Drove me mad, but it seems along time ago now....she's like a different dog.
  6. Mines 11 and still comes with me mooching about with the pup, she works at her own pace and walks along side me a lot of the time.....She's suffering on her back end now and struggles to get out of her bed after she's over done it, but i got some tablets off the vet to help if need be, but I can't imagine not taking her.
  7. Love whippets, always especially the smaller ones, can't understand though why there are an increasing number of larger ones around.....23-24 inch mark.....I would be going for a lurcher if I wanted something that size...and I swear down sooty Sam lines have had an inncy weeny teeny bit of bull blood added to them somewhere in the not too distant past....nothing wrong with that, but hasn't anybody else thought it when they look at them.
  8. Or dexion racking.....find it on ebay,,if you can get it cheap enough .
  9. Collie/greyhound x whippet...........,,,,, nice whippet off working stock make you a good first working dog and house dog, but there's lots of others that will do what you want as well.
  10. Never had a problem with straw
  11. Tesco. £9 month, but I look at new quotes each year on the net
  12. What thread? Ah, just found it.
  13. Been little or nothing as long as I can remember where I live, just love getting out with the dogs and maybe chasing one or two..., everyone's different though.
  14. Just found another led type lamp, rechargeable http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RECHARGEABLE-LED-LAMP-XL-175mm-LAMPING-HAND-HELD-HUNTING-LIGHT-SPOT-foxing-cree-/320813659685?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item4ab1fbf625 Not sure if any good though.

Is that the hand held rechargeable one? If so I've just sold mine, thought the beam was far too tight. If you are interested In any torch types, there are some cracking ones out there depending how much you want to spend. Is that the LED one your on about? If it is went out the other day with one of them lamps, thought it was brilliant. I like the nice tight beam, got good length on it as we'll and there really light. I highly rate them lamps, spot on for the rabbits where I go, I'll be getting one for my self very soon. Yes, led one. It did seem very well constructed, can't ar
