Thanks all.....she's a bright little pup....none stop, but no surprises there. She's straight out onto the garden when she needs a pee or dump...so that's a bonus. I did put a lot of consideration into the type of lurcher I wanted, in fact I spend half my life thinking about the different types of lurcher out there and which I would like next in years to come. As long as she hunts and hunts well I'll be happy. Even if she ends up looking like near pure spaniel she'll have her use.

There was a litter of terrier cross whipet x terrier whippet for sale on preloved a few weeks ago........, one looked like a whippet the other just as big and the spitting image of yours if the litters still there I will put a link up. Either the dam or sire which was the spit of your pup looked like 3/4whippet 1/4 bull (same colour as yours) other looked nearly pure blue whippet.......both looked real nice.

Gaz 1989....Got an old collie/grey nearly twelve, a bushing jack nearly 11, a bed/whip x collie/grey/ whip at 20 months so wanted something to help out. Just do daytime mooching/ bushing......one for he pot style...flask n ruck sack......always thought a spaniel x would do me great...couldn't believe my luck when I so them advertised...not for everybody no doubt. Money no object.....poundland specials....

Yes, and the clulite led is way too tight. Fenix tk41 good......youtube it.....think it's going outdoors that do a couple of videos on it, the Shorter of the two vids shows you what it's like in the field. This is the one I have, but you can get some much more powerful than this. Some with quality aspherical lenses have amazing beams, but they can be very focused with not much spill think dereelight night master is one. Word of warning though if you get one that runs on 18650 batteries makes sure they they're good quality protected ones and use a good charger....do research about these b

Thanks for all your input. Cheers Buster, near J36 M1.......just been to a place a bit closer..... Not too far from Sheffield Wednesday football ground. 15 x 1lb frozen packs of ground chicken......ground lamb.....turkey n chicken....chicken n tripe etc £8 or I think 20 of the same was £10. Always nice to know there's another supplier not too far away. Wuyang

.... Done some searching on here regarding raw feeding to a puppy. Going to get some minced chicken carcass and minced beef, canned fish and occasional liver. Pup will be nine weeks old......so when will I be able to feed turkey necks and lamb bones etc? Should I bother to include a mixer and is there anything else you would advise? Thanks

Insulated kennel and lots of good straw. In the house tuffies waterproof mat bed thing and couple of sheets of vet bed on this.

I can only go on the ones I've worked, I found collie lurcher I had with a tad of beardie in it had a much greater desire to want to hunt for a scent when there wasn't much about, he would work at a greater distance from me rather than checking on me every 2 seconds. He had more determination to get hold of what ever he was chasing. Maybe I just got lucky, but my god he could hunt,,,,nose down eyes up......I thought all lurchers were like this.....until I got another.
