Life ain't black and white, sometimes there are people out there that stand by you but have ways or habbits that you just don't morally agree with. I dare say there are a few people I consider my friends that really don't agree with hunting, but if someones right by you then you will try to put those things to the side. No shame in that imo. lad who I`d knocked about with for years used to knock his mrs about witnessed it first hand one night --he`s no longer a mate of mine .. if a mans got a trait I didn't like then I wouldn't associate with him but that's just me -----and no doubt I`ve

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7d4Ims-Dzc Looks alright lads. The sort of thing they should make a proper TV series from. All the best. -
I don't idolise the man in anyway, his achievements in football are no doubt great but they mean bugger all to me really other than a general appreciation for the fact that he has achieved at the highest level. So putting that aside, whether alcoholism is considered an addiction, self inflicted, a weakness or a disease is somewhat irrelavent, there is only one thing stopping an alcoholic getting straight and that's their own mind. At what point do you say "enough's enough, you're on ya own because there's f**k all anybody can do for you". Alcoholics might have a genetic predisposition to a

You can't be serious?....................

I'd try to ignore colours so I can be as objective as possible and pick something I like the build and temp of.............. However, I do like a smooth fawn or slightly rough dark brindle.

Are they the real McCoy? Because £18.99 for 5 traps seems silly cheap for genuine Fenns or Springers. And looking at the picture on the website they don't look like either manufacturers trap......

My theory is that athletes/sportsman who have put a lot of stress through their back over many years......will actually have better longevity in terms of wear and tear of the discs............than somebody who has an easy life with little or no stress to the back...........most back problems will be disc related.....if you get to 40-50 without actually having a direct injury to discs its going to be degeneration of them that causes problems,ie wear and tear........a back that is constantly stressed ( through weight training ) for example....will have far better lubrication between the discs th

I'm pretty sure there is nothing scientific to suggest they should do anything physiologically to help. Buttttt even if the effects are purely placebo, that still surely makes it worth while?
-
I was only talking about this on Sunday. Is there anyone over the age of 40-50 who doesn't suffer with their back? I have this theory, people that have played hard sports or hard physical graft often suffer back probs later in life and people that do very little physical exercise/strength training often suffer too. But do those that live a relatively physically easy life but keep themselves fit and strong with gym etc? These people are not hammering themselves with high strain sport or graft but still keeping their body and back fit strong and healthy in a controlled manor. Well that's

You not using a call bird? Please don't tell me you have caught 5 and knocked em all on the head?

I don't tend to take it too seriously, never entered the ring and never will, maybe with kids one day....... The only shows worth going to in my opinion are the local hunt shows. If I'm only going up for an hour or two to catch up with a few mates etc I might take a dog and let her have a few dips in the lake or river, for animals that rarely see more than the odd dog or person I don't think it does any harm to get them amongst a bit of madness now and again. I also think it's nice to see what types other people are keeping, be a bit shite if I went to a Hunt kennel open day and no fec

I'm no different. But don't think of student debt the same as other debt, it's practicaly no worry at all. You don't even start paying it back untill you are earning over a threshold and then it's minimal and the interest rates on it are crazy low relative to normal debt. If you have been sensible, you have got a decent qualification that puts you in a more prosperous position in life, if not then you pay f**k all back anyway. It's stupid when people borrow and then blow the money leaving them with little or no assets to cover the value of their debt. Borrow as much as you like as long as

I guess what i meant was, and speaking from experience, you need to figure out what you want in life, a goal to achieve, then a realistic path on how to get there. When you don't know what you want or stop believing you can get there, 90% of your motivation erodes away. Knocking off early, doing half a job, imo these people aren't necessarily lazy just lack direction.

I stayed smallish 4 full time and a few subbies -- any spare cash I put into property and a bit of land and sold it when it was right --took a few years paid contract managers job then called it a day ..got some holiday lets that bring in a decent wage and then my bit of buying and selling to keep me active ...choose the time you want to get out and plan for that -- hope it all works out for you look at a good private pension aswell Bit of spare cash to buy property and land We get the idea, you're minted Once you have some money it's easy to make a lot of money, it's getting to the s

I suppose I'm quite fortunate that the company I work for have annual cost of living reviews that are based on inflation, which coincidently I receiver today. So if bread and milk go up, my salary should reflect. I think a lot of people have it hard at the moment, I have friends who live on benefits due to disability that are fecking hard up and have friends who have 6 figure salaries that have felt the pinch.

Sounds excellent, I had 1000 poults and duck to feed first thing, then a few rounds of clays for my Birthday, went out for some icecream after, then took the dogs down the river in the evening after a decent BBQ. Sundays like that make me fecking sick..................... sick that it's back to the office on Monday!
