That's interesting but it'd be more interesting to hear what a MOD official has to say on it. Could have 'bought an Aircraft Carrier Strike Group for the cost of the war' I find particularly interesting. It's that sort of thing that we need to properly implement foreign policy. That's interesting, sounds kinda like Britain 50 years ago. Very relaxed and everyone kinda gets on with their bit without too much state interference. I didn't know if they had anything like Spain or Italy where they have big game drives. As soon as I saw those hounds kenneled and that bulldog I thought 'Boar'! Just a thought but if they took money off Cameron that's not a political party/group just an indivdual, that money didn't come from the Conservative party just the same any EDL member could donate personally. The EDL are a politically motivated group, though not a party. I don't see that as hypicritical. Maybe missguided but the rule exists for a reason, it's black and white, not one rule for some another for others.

Wilf, do you really not think there's an advantage to having a dog in cover that gives voice to let the lurchers know what's going on and where? Sometimes when pushing thorns through all the dogs will be inside and visability is low, then if something is put up and pushed hard how do the others know what's going on? I see it as greatly usefull and the only real downside to the spaniel.

Realistically? I'd focus on threats to British security, rather than religion. Just because 99% of those threats originate from extremist Muslims simply means that Islam is the demographic where security operations are focussed. The Russians are sending their AA missiles over to Syria specifically to defend against Israeli air strikes. Israel WILL take those out on arrival, they've said as much. The yanks DOD and British MOD have military strategies drawn up already in anticipation of heavy Israeli military action and potentially Iran getting involved.
