If it was the same type of war as we faced in wwii sadly i think you are right.we would be bitching like f**k,the first time the luftwaffe took out a mobile phone mast lolbut there still a part of me thinks if our backs were against the wall.we would come good.lets face it you would just f*****g need to or perish.better to be defeated and killed than live in occupied slavery.or you could be like france with that famous backbone and colliberate. Re' the question, yeah you're right. There's certain etiquette that goes with the driven game shoot too, such as beating for the beaters day in January (though many will make their excuses!) and taking a bottle of something along each day and tipping the keeper etc etc. If you know any of the guns, just have a chat with them as shoots can differ a fair bit with respect to what's expected. -
LOL, Wilf first thing I wanted to do was jump infront of it and see if they could see anything on me! But in reality our Security Services aren't held up with PCness like the police are. This Prof also told me about a not too cautious Arab BBC reporter who without prior concent thought he could film within the Airport after the 2010 bomb plot, moments later police X5s had him pinned to the security fence!

Tomo, just fecking humour me! Was it you I saw at the Belvoir kennels yesterday? Had a collars and what have ya stall near the lurcher ring? Was gonna come over and say hello but wasn't a hundred percent and didn't want to look a bellend just walking up to a complete stranger and saying "alright mate are you Tomo off THL, I'm Born Hunter!" Had an interesting day at work today..... Off to a small analysis company to have a meeting today. Anyway this company specialises in industrial analysis for quality control etc. They are affiliated with a local University and we liased with a Professor that has pioneered a few of the techniques, in this case specifically in laser analysis equipment. Anyway, to the point, he showed us a bit of kit that they have invented, essentially it's a camera system that uses lasers to scan for very specific signatures such as those from firearms or explosives residue to different narcotics residu

Get some Mk4s in tunnel around the pens and start mopping up any vermin that's already resident. The stoats you catch now will save you a job in a month or twos time after they have already killed poults. I'd also let a couple of terriers have a look around the pens, they'll find stuff dug in that you might've missed and tell you if what's at home is vermin or not. I'd also fll those holes in to see if they get kicked out and are active. -
Why do you think that it is? Why don't badgers where there are the apex predators mentioned not run for cover but will take their chances and stand their ground? What purpose do those balck and white stripes on their heads serve if not as a warning the same as the skunk? Not a lot wants to mess with badgers. It's a mute point anyway, cub predation alone would dramatically reduce a population. That effect is clearly seen with hare populations, nothing much in the UK bothers the adult brown hare, but hawks, foxes and badgers will all prey on leverets, good years for all those predat

Hutch, badgers leave their setts mate. And they aren't the fleetest of creatures I'm quite sure. I imagine a large predator would quite easily kill one but I'm just speculating here. Either way the badger population is at an unnatural high and TB or not needs reducing for ecological balance. Like I have said, others will know more about the relationship between badger and TB in cattle than me.

Matt the Rat is very clued up on the science behind this, it'd be interesting to hear his views. One thing I do know, Re bTB and badger culling the science is so clouded with politics it can hardly be considered science! As for wiping out the badger, it's a cull not an erradication!

In a truely natural environment they would not be an apex predator. Large canids, lynx, bear etc would all prey on old brock!

This 'varified vaccine'...... I was under the beliefe that the EU had not legalised it yet? And probably won't for another 10 years? Also, how is it administered, oral or injectable? If it's injectable how the hell do you catch every badger in the country from now untill an indeffinate time in the future? If it's oral, how do you ensure all badgers munch it?

No idea but you are aware you can buy purpose made bits to tow behind the bike? Discs, rollers etc....... They're bang on!
