  1. I'm on my second iPhone SE. Cheaper than the bigger ones but with much of the technology in the smaller sized unit.
  2. Well done on the snares. Never snared squirrel myself. But what's the crack with the Fenns? I'd typically expect to be murdering them with Fenns, so I'm surprised you haven't had any luck on that front. They're probably the most effective way to trap squirrels. Rats can take a little while but squirrels are usually pretty confident around a new tunnel.
  3. Roy Roth if I’m not mistaken. Died a couple years ago, sheep hunting I think. Listen to the sound they make. Bet it’d make your hair stand on end in person!
  4. I remember watching this on his insta stories.
  5. I bet plenty get grassed with the ubiquitous 'thirty aught six'.
  6. So the dept of fish and wildlife got it wrong? I'm willing to believe that, maybe the cultural impact on the native Americans wasn't considered etc? But I'm also suspicious that in a time when American politics has never been more polarised, that a judge appointed by a democrat is scoring cheap points on an issue that would be considered symbolic of trump and his 'rich trophy hunting mates'...
  7. At this point, does it honestly change anything? I still don't really understand all the fuss over this cross breeding. There should be a cocker working standard and a springer working standard and whatever goes in to create the best dogs at those jobs should be neither here nor there surely.
  8. That might be true but it's not the Geneva conventions that stop them mate. As said, they do not apply to domestic policing. I think it might be the Hague Convention that prohibits expanding ammo anyway?
  9. I wonder that too but with those whales that get beached. They just leave them to slowly die claiming there's nowt they can do but I don't reckon they're really exercising their imaginations, LOL... The military surely have a thing or two to administer the coup de gras! Head shot from a 50 or a pound of C4 down the blowpipe. But seriously, surely we can muster better than just leaving the poor fuckers.
  10. Absolutely. It must be sickening. I just wonder if it's easier to motivate a friend of the scum to grass or to get the scum themselves to cash in and risk getting caught...
  11. £1000 no questions asked. I think I'd be going £2000 for a name and address otherwise it just becomes a f***ing racket for the scum. Isn't this two years on the bounce the midlands has had dogs stolen?
  12. I personally don’t think it’ll end us. We will find solutions for every threat. But what it will do is leave a world sterile of anything worth doing. Just concrete and industry. Boring as f**k!
  13. 99% wouldn’t last the first winter! Never mind Rorkes drift, Lol. Too cold for em. f***ing hell I know an Algerian that wears a woolly hat in the summer here.
  14. It wouldn’t be great, lol, but it wouldn’t be hopeless either. Besides we’re re British, order and civility is instinctive. We’d wash our rad meds down with a cuppa and crack on.
  15. Knowledge and skills would be more useful than tat from a shop. That’s for geeks. Lol Ill be sound anyway, got a credit card and Netflix!

    Help

There might be a minimum post of reputation limit before selling stuff. A Mod is bound to be along to explain further.
  17. I don't think so mate but I'll have to check as this is the first I'm hearing of this. Says on the sportdog site I linked 7 settings and never really questioned it.
  18. My brother very recently was at his whits end with his Springer. He kept going on about feeling like he's fighting a losing battle, not being able to take the dog out or do anything with him because of his disobedience and couldn't shake the thought that the dog would be better off re-homed. The dog is headstrong, possessive and bold but really has a lot of potential as he is very responsive to firm handling and is not neurotic when boxed or kennelled. The whole experience sounded familiar and is a horrible state of mind, for both handler and dog. I told him I'd fix it and to do as I say.
  19. Mine (SD-425) only has 7 settings. Which is plenty mind for me. Level 4 or 5 is enough to break most dogs attention without causing fear/shock, just an uncomfortable stimulus. Here's the range; https://www.sportdog.com/en-gb/dog-training/e-collars/sporttrainer
  20. Typed out this and then the site 404 error f****d me..... again! So had to add it as a picture. Sorry.
  21. I was about to say that 1st world societies tend to stabilise as base urges to reproduce and have families become less prioritised for other things like career and travel etc. But then he basically covered it at the end. Our mad persuit of growth is IMO our greatest threat. But importantly increasing consumption isn’t the only source of growth and this is something often misunderstood. There are two mechanisms for growth, increased consumption AND optimisation through R&D. The economy doesn’t have to crash just because we stop this ‘endless’ consumption.
  22. "Shooting is conservation." Something we hear a lot but still many struggle to understand. If your business is harvesting a wild species, there's no sense in excess. So long as sportsmen want and are allowed to shoot red grouse and the moors are privately owned, there will be red grouse on the moors. Same applies to everything else. It just works.
  23. I'm starting to wonder if it's Socks offing these people!
  24. Everybody in that video, bar the pedestrian, should be rendered down into soap. f***ing degenerates.
