  1. Which ones are endangered? LOL. And more importantly what is the actual impact of sport hunting on them? I can provide case studies, can you? See we keep coming back to this thing about evidence and facts don't we. That's why it's painfully clear this opposition is largely emotionally driven.
  2. I do with my older bitch and with mates dogs. I get quite a bit of varied sport with dogs, guns and traps thanks for your concern.
  3. The fact that you think all that is involved is pulling a trigger just shows how absolutely out of touch you are with the subject that you are passing judgement on. Also, it's hilarious that you think it all needs to be 'manly'. Nobody cares if you or other antis think it's a girls job.
  4. You have no idea what you're talking about....................... again. "Anti proper hunter" Nope, just anti ignorance and anti hypocrite. Anti resorting to calling a fella a Nazi because you're struggling to establish a decent grounding to your argument.
  5. Of course it's emotional. The evidence shows that the business of sport hunting in Africa has positive conservation benefits. Do you want to discuss this assertion with facts? Also, how on Earth can you just tar all sport hunting in Africa as 'ego hunting' and 'killing captive bred animals'? It's nonsense and usually comes out of the mouths of people who have never met the people they are judging. Which is pretty ignorant. Here's a little dose of reality, THEY DO IT FOR THE SAME REASONS WE DO. And the antis judge us just like they judge them. Pound to a pinch of piss the average Joe would
  6. I bet you could have some sport with a biddable ratting terrier and a torch just after sunset. In fact, it should be encouraged frankly. Reminds me of the squirrels in green park, London.

This is the sort of shit that makes me laugh. They try so hard bless them.

Very 'trendy' at the moment. Vegan and Organic are the must haves for any image conscious liberal sort. I think being conscious of what your impact is on the world is a good thing and something we need more of. The amount of plastic we're dumping in the oceans is a f***ing disgrace! Unfortunately the best some people can do to that end is a total overshoot and become a militant evangelical lunatic.

I think that a lot of vegies and even vegans will find more in common with a hunter who harvests their own meat than they will with their regular meat eating peers. I've found that anyway. It's about having a grounded and responsible attitude to where your food comes from. Quite often we share that. Obviously there is the potential for conflict, especially stuff that is more about sport than meat harvesting, but I think realistically only a minority of vegans are the 'activist' types who seem to give us grief.
  10. @charnwood taxidermy I'm not very far from you. Can I ask if you are interested or know or anyone who would be in tanning skins professionally? Not taxidermy mounts, just deer or fox hide for home furnishing? It'd be worth knowing for future reference. I buggered it up when I tried it a frankly I'd rather pay a professional. Cheers
  11. Fully mastered the anti lingo I see. You clearly don't understand the crack. The money doesn't have to be passed on to 'conservation', the PHs and owners ARE the conservationists. Their hunting business IS DIRECTLY conserving wildlife habitat. You don't have to like it or agree with it. Anti's like you are ten a penny. Outraged, uneducated and ignorant to listening to anything that feels challenging. It's a shame you can't put your emotions aside for a moment.

Yeah, but I doubt one could stand me.
  13. Total fantasy. You don't need to wait for a tax, hand it over voluntarily! My point is, if all these folks (you) that are so outspoken about hunting in Africa really cared about the animals as much as they claimed then they'd be funding the conservation through the various channels that exist. Reality is 'they' largely don't and would end a self funding form of wildlife conservation that is responsible for 65% of all African wildlife habitat management, largely because of outrage and made up facts about a subject they have very little experience of. Basically the exact same behaviour as any ot
  14. And when folks lose their jobs because they have no transport I suppose they'll just have to become another statistic on benefits? I suppose we'll just see how much of an effect this has... I'd be lost without my vehicle. Honestly not sure my life would be worth living. I dread ever losing that right.
  15. Best part was his mates reaction. Some clever c**t needs to do commentary on that, it'll go viral! There's every chance he didn't wake up. Hit at the base of the skull like that could easy have killed him or left him a vegetable.
  16. @mackem f***ing poleaxed the c**t. Absolutely brilliant. Its a f***ing travesty that were supposed to behave like lambs to slaughter with this shit it really is.
  17. Just like the antis would rather see all the deer I shoot still alive. Bottom line. You want to see em alive, go pay for them to be conserved. Because hunters are doing and folks like you aren’t.
  18. I think this guy is doing some good stuff of showing hunting in Africa. I like his style. https://www.instagram.com/pdsafaris/ Seems quite similar to Donny Vincent. Both try to convey the deep personal meaning of their hunting. That dont sell tomorrow's chip wrappers though...
  19. It's a submarine, no it's a hippo......... no, its a...... f***ing buffalo!...... The f**k?
  20. That's the plan and the breeding, mate. We'll see how he comes on but I'd quite like to get this one blood tracking as well.
  21. Think they have had a bit of publicity recently with the likes of the Beckhams and Prince Will and Kate having them. Probably the ‘in vogue’ dog of the moment. Theyre fetching daft money because of it too. Even non ped stuff is going for like 600 a pup.
  22. Cheers, I think so too mate. Best temperament I’ve ever seen in a dog too. He’s an absolute gent around my young terrier pup, which I think makes a pups new life easier. Shame I don’t know how he’s bred to go back for similar in a few years.
  23. All this talk of high school is making me anxious. My pocket protectors and spectacles make me a prime target for the bullies! Deep breaths! Its just an analogy...
  24. Exactly! Standing against the wall clearly isn't working and writing lines isnt practical.
  25. Can I suggest that the mods are given the power to force members to be blocked to other members? Let's face it very few people have the maturity to not rise to provocation and probably feel a bit weak blocking someone. By mods activating a blocking between members that have beef it might go a little way to ending the childishness. By banning members they just come back and it starts again. Blocking might not do that. Just a thought. It could be temporary or permanent.
