The whole system needs to be burnt down so everyone can lose their fear and rebuild. This one is totally disillusioning. I have faith in our lawmakers and bureaucrats total ineptitude! It's happening...

I'll give it a miss, by the sounds of it no good comes from watching it. Hard to believe such 'children' have any goodness in them worth nurturing...

No, I only posted it for the likes!

Didn't have a TV license. LOL, nah think he had a gun but tbh I don't know if he was the right fella or just unlucky bystander. Which is exactly the reason these tactics are so controversial.

Meanwhile in Arizona...

Bought this Lynx at The Game Fair this year. I stalk on shitty flinty woodland valleys where I regularly drop my shouldered/slinged rifle and frankly I was getting to the point I wanted to smash something. Frustrating! This new ‘system’ is far better. Stable as, both hands free, bits and bobs stored on my person. Pricey I guess but it makes my time in the field less stressful!

I looked so witty for a moment and now you have shown me to be a fraud. LOL

top tip...... it's not waterboarding if you use diesel.

It's just virtue signalling for a lot of people. They probably like, donate & share on their social media to let all their liberal mates know how wonderful they are. Meanwhile donate f**k all to regular domestic bullying charities. I'm quite happy to let them donate to whatever the f**k they please, mind.

Honestly, if this is the countries idea of Brexit then give us another referendum, I'll change my mind and stay in. Utterly pointless exercise! Brexit for me has to give us trade sovereignty. I can concede on all other areas short term because once our economy is not so heavily dependant on the continent then we can reassert ourselves in the other political areas. We absolutely have to have strategic control of our own economy. Everything else will follow...

I like that. Is it articulated/hinged?

I don't reckon I much like sighthounds so I'd want as much 'roughness' in there as I could get away with.

These look a similar offering from Altberg. https://www.altberg.co.uk/product/factory-stock-nordkapp/ Quite fancy a pair to complement my Gamekeepers. Spring purchase I think...

I recently had a wisdom extracted, check up and scale/polish for about 50 quid I think. Great service. FYI I think NI only covers pensions and maternity leave or something.

Apparently not even a vegan. Joe Rogan challenged gervais on a talk show directly and was shocked he admitted to not being vegan.

What exactly does that mean? How exactly does red meat decompose before digestion in a way that other foods do not?

Brick kennels look smart as f**k! They really do. Bet ya feel proud with a smart setup like that.

You know how everyone has a cross or breed that they'd like to try but is a bit of a gamble so it just stays a dream? Well for me that'd be a Fell x Grey. Just a bit more pokey than the whippet cross. One day maybe... FYI, a similar thread from a while back.

Surely it depends on the population numbers more than acreage? I mean if you have 500 acres of mature woodland and enough deer to sustainable harvest 100 a year then it's gonna fetch more than 99% arable that can only manage taking 20 a year. I don't have the experience to really help you but if you know the above then it might help someone with more experience in leasing stalking offer some guidance. Alternatively you get someone in to do a census and advise you accordingly. Personally I'm quite interested in sorting out a similar deal locally so be interested to hear opinions.

Just an FYI for those interested. Not interested in folks bragging about how poor they are or how their 400 yr old barbour is still better than harkila pish. Anyone after a some pro hunter stuff, this is a bargain. https://www.allcockscountry.co.uk/sale/harkila-pro-hunter-x-jacket-lake-green.html Jacket £ 300 https://www.allcockscountry.co.uk/sale/harkila-pro-hunter-active-trousers-lake-green.html Trousers £180

I could be very tempted by one. Love their versatility and what they do. But spaniels and maybe their crosses are probably best suited to what I do in truth. IMO it's very useful having a gundog that'll find, flush and mark fox so I encouraged it a lot. Hopefully he takes to it. Most folks seem to want to keep their dogs well away from them.

I agree. I guess I just meant that blaming the government and saying it's their job to fix is a bit of a get out and a crutch that some people use as an excuse to not do anything themselves. We totally have the power to enact social change. Let's petition government too but let's not just wait for them to fix it for us. We can all choose to buy locally sourced products, buy meat wrapped in paper rather than plastic from the supermarket etc. It's less convenient but we can do that without the government. We can make it socially unacceptable to not recycle or not consider our impact on the world

I can't comment on it as a scientist, it's not my area. But it just makes sense don't it? I follow a few container recycle house building things on social media. I think the only thing stopping us doing more of this is frankly pride and social status! People don't want to live in a recycled house, they want the prestige of bricks and mortar. There's probably technical problems of using the right plastics for building or whatever but on the face of it it has legs...
