LOL f**k me. Tell ya what I'll just agree with the GWCT and you can disagree with them. If you think that data shows the rabbit population is larger than it was pre myxi then whatever. I believe you're wrong and so does the GWTC.
-
Which part was wrong.... the part where it presumes to counter my statement that rabbit numbers never recovered. Clearly you are just looking at 2 data points, I presumed your statement considered more than that. Looking at the data I have provided rabbit number have not fully recovered. I'm not just picking single data points. Apparently you are? Also looking at the data more closely it clearly needs correcting for war time. Which is why you can't just pick single data points.
-
Lol, no it doesn't. Read the caption. You can't ignore all the pre myxi data and only look at the numbers in the immediate years prior to 53.
-
Even if we take that graph at face value. It was 35 years before the rabbit population had any significant small recovery. That's more than an entire human generation it was mullered by disease.

-
Really? Based on what data? GWTC below... Given the technological advances in recent times I'm not surprised the game bag has shown an increase either. Still not recovery.

I don't think anything else provides such a wide variety of sport as the rabbit. It is a fantastic quarry. I used to love Sunday mornings ferreting, nights lamping with our lurchers, hunting hedgerows and flushing them to gun with my terrier, late summer evenings stalking the margins with a rifle... Times change and I'm doing new stuff now but it is a shame a lot of that rabbiting is gone.
-
Nothing but pockets of rabbits round here now compared to 10 years ago. Disease has utterly f****d them. Bloody shame really but at least I had some good rabbiting before it all went. Not sure they will ever recover. When myxi was introduced it knocked the population back permanently. It should be expected that RHD will have a similar effect.

Got to be honest, I don't see a problem with that at all. But f**k him anyway. For many other reasons.

I intend to give it the old nerd line "time is relative" rather than do all that paper work. ??

Had the pleasure of staying with a few huntsmen for a week of hunting a few times through a hunting mate. Following fell hounds is unforgettable. Hounds being held back, terrier in the rocks, on a near vertical face with wind howling. Awesome stuff. The border packs are good for that too.

Personally I find shooting foxes with a rifle boring as f**k. Nothing like bolting them from drains or earths or even bushing them out of the rough stuff. Never worked bails much but it's something I want to do more of. Rifles will usually kill the most foxes but there has to be an element of enjoyment. I'm quite happy to delegate lamping duties to my brother.

I still say that if outcrossing with a different breed gives an unfair advantage against a 'pure' then the breed in question f***ing well needs the outcross! There should be a working standard..... the end. Blood purity means f**k all when the product is allegedly substandard.

Gotta love opportunism! About this time last year I nailed a lamp shy fox that I had seen multiple times and even walked up out of set aside twice. I was having a mooch around the boundary when a hell of a racket was kicking off across the other side of the field. Gulls were playing hell and then I noticed what with, that fox. It came pelting down the field from >300 yards away right to me! I crouched down in the margin with the dog and rolled him without even seeing me. It was hard to believe tbh. Got the whole thing on video too!

Why are you now talking about rimfires? I agree CZs are brilliantly engineered rifles, I own one. I've heard nothing good about Sako rimfires. The Sako 75/85 series, which the CW is the premium model of and the T3 series which that TAC is the premium model of I and many others have real world experience of. The T3 is a poorer piece of kit so no I'm not interested in the premium T3 offering. The price opens the market up to rifles I consider better. And again, 0.3moa means nothing in the field for most people. Especially considering the fact that that TAC will have been highly accuriz

The ride quality is way better on air but it's just another expensive thing that I don't need from a motor.
-
I can say mine's never left me stranded (other than one snow drift ) but in the time I've had it it's needed a new rear diff and clutch amongst a few other minor things. I wish it had a low range box otherwise I can't say it's a bad motor. If the new Defender is an improved, more utilitarian, version of that I'd be interested. Unfortunately I'm reading stuff about air suspension and hybrid engines, lol.

Only if you're in a calorie deficit. Ketosis doesn't just burn stored fat, it burns dietary fat too, right. If you are eating more calories than your body needs then you will still gain weight in the form of stored fat. https://blog.virtahealth.com/dietary-fat-burned-before-stored-fat-keto/ My point is, if you eat a calorie surplus while in ketosis, you will gain weight in proportion to the size of the surplus. I only point this out because your post seemed to suggest otherwise. I think the biggest benefit of ketosis is mental. You won't get that low energy fatigued feeling when

But we're not talking about a 85 Varmint. I wouldn't have one of those either. The comment was made about preferring the Carbon Wolf over that and I agreed. Alleged 0.3moa doesn't mean shit really in the field. Plenty of 85s doing half inch and when you look at it like that there's no real world difference. It's a Tikka T3! LOL. If it was overhauled enough to put it on par with a Sako then it wouldn't carry the T3 pedigree. Has it been? I've shot T3 (current rifle) and 75/85s. The Sako pedigree is superior. They feel a better tool to me. So I'd prefer the premium piece of the 85 r

Ah f**k, I had a shower last night! Spose I'll have to wait 6 months now before being eligible?

If he wants to loose weight though he still has to eat at a calorie deficit. Even on keto he cant just eat everything fatty. Soon as he puts himself in a calorie surplus he'll start gaining weight. From what I have heard when you become keto-adapted your carb cravings stop and you become satiated for longer (so long as you have fat stores to fuel you) and so you don't tend to over eat from cravings which makes it easier to loose weight. The actual weight loss mechanism is the same as any other diet, a calorie deficit.

And vastly better looking than that DC100 concept. LOL

Looks kinda like a very utilitarian short wheel base D3/4.
