shit mate, just caught up with this thread after reading first post few days ago. Sorry to read the outcome, hope the dog will be comfortable very soon, and hopefully a bit less stress for you now that it's been sorted in some way. Best of luck for the recovery, I'm sure he'll be back doing a job for you in the future

Great looking pup! -
ha, same with mine mate, she'll eat everything but doesn't fancy rabbit, my missus thinks it's hilarious and has started taking the p*ss saying the pup will end end up being a lap dog carried round in her handbag! don't care if she doesn't like the taste, as long as the little shite chases and brings it back, lucky i like a rabbit stew eh

We must be twins lol Tough-minded progressives unite!!

Radicalism 85.75 Socialism 68.75 Tenderness 37.5 These scores indicate that you are a tough-minded progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a liberated atheist. It appears that you are cynical towards religion, and have a suspicious and unsympathetic attitude towards humanity in general. Your attitudes towards economics appear socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as left-wing. To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a devoted egalitarian wi

Canal Boat Trip With The Pup, A Few Pics
satan80 replied to satan80's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
10 in a boat, bet that was mental! Yeah it was a good laugh, not that easy to steer, had a few close calls with other boats and some comedy crashes into bridges, I reckon we'd have ended up capsized if I'd been on any longer with a few beers... We had it from 9am till 4pm, it was £150 but split between 5 of us so doesn't work out too bad, well worth it if you get a decent day of weather. Cheers mate, she's deerhound/grey x collie/grey, I'm chuffed with her so far, proper chilled pup and starting to get more switched on when we're out and about, hence nearly a duck massacre on the canal h -
Hired a boat for the day at the weekend, out from Skipton for a few hours, got caught out with the weather for the first hour but turned nice in the end. Pup has just turned 6 months, she didn't what the hell was going on when i chucked her on the boat but loved it after a bit, had to stop her going overboard a couple of times when she saw a tasty duck within lunging distance Captain Flo eyeing up the prey "don't try and trick me, just cause you've brought my cushion i know i'm not at home, now get me off this f*cking boat"

great pics mate, nice looking dogs

My thoughts are on the other thread about that fight, but briefly, i think Cleverly was out of his depth the moment this fight was signed, and he knew it himself within 30 secs of the first bell on Saturday night. A lot of hardcore boxing fans, particulalrly in the US, were high on Kovalev prior to this fight, he's been destroying fighters for the last couple of years and every one of them has said afterwards that he's a murderous puncher. Let's be honest, Clev was a cassic Frank Warren paper champ, his title reign has been poor and he's shown glaring flaws have have been hidden by the

Well chuffed for him, like you say he seems like a genuinely good guy. He fight great I thought, Geale might have not been a killer but he was a tough champ who has beaten some decent fighters. Can't see him unifying, he won't get Martinez after losing last time and he should go nowhere near Golovkin, for obvious reasons. Peter Quillin would be a decent fight though. Love to see him in with Murray, an all British genuine world title fight in this country would be amazing, I think their styles would blend really well too. Did you see the Clev fight mate? If so what did you think
-
and Kovalev is much more than just a banger, he's got excellent footwork, accuracy, lovely variety on the jab and seems comfortable at any range. Looks like the kind of genuine KO puncher who doesn't need perfect leverage or to land really clean shots to hurt you, he just punched through Clev's guard for most of that fight and still had him all over from those cuffing punches, scary power. He also had 200 + amateur fights with only a handful of losses, so he's got the pedigree too, but yeah he's a soft touch Bellew
-
kovalev is a power house but been watching some of his other fights on you tube no one really has tested him and with bellew i think he would thats his fighting style but as you say hes only got a punches chance hes definitely got a punchers chance, but going back to the oville mckenzie fight, his chin is suspect. and cleverley had never had his chin tested really, had a supposed 'iron chin' and it came undone against this guy. He's a monster. i agree that nobody has tested him though, but they dont get given the chance looking at him. he put it all over clev last night and im not sure

another recommendation for the book here, it's fantastic and the pictures are great as well as the words, often had it out on the coffee table and friends who have no interest in running dogs have picked it up and been fascinated by shots of some amazing looking animals, although when the missus saw some of the more gory shots her words were, "i'll hang YOU from a barbed wire fence if our dogs ever come home with an injury like that" Top book, buy it

Saw 2 bands down in London the other week, first off the mighty Maiden at the O2, awesome show Then saw another of my favourite bands, i'll be amazed if anyone on here has heard of these let alone likes them... any extreme metal heads, please reveal yourselves now

must be a full time job keeping all those dogs+kids in check, i've only got one 6 month pup and i'm getting driven mental They all look great, and looks like you're just down down the road from me seeing the signs in that photo, if i see a bloke getting dragged through a field by 5 dogs i'll give you a hand
-
everyone seems to favour the cream dog, i'm a fan of poor unloved Boots both stunning animals but i'm a fan of the rougher types, love Boots' markings and his legs and feet look so strong in one of those photos, bet he'll be a sight to behold in full gallop

absolute belter mate! What size is he?
-
Great fight. Agree it's a win win for Groves, going up against a genuine world star, on HBO tv, boat load of cash I assume. If he gets the victory, he's catapulted into other potential mega fights, if he loses, he's young and fresh enough to come again. I think Groves can hurt Froch, he's a serious banger and developed real accuracy at long range, Froch has a great chin but been hurt by Taylor and buzzed by Kessler, he's not invincible, and there's only so many wars you can come through, hIs recuperative powers will undoubtedly diminish with age. It's not as if Froch is an ageing fighter
