Easily one of the best looking dogs on this forum IMO, proper stunner

I've been feeding raw with Gain 20 with my pup for the last few weeks. Feeding 3 times a day, raw mince/chicken wings/ribs/sardines morning and evening, with a couple of handfuls of Gain during the day. I've read people saying you shouldn't feed raw and dry together because of different digestion rates, but that doesn't make sense to me as if you feed your dog a varied diet of anything this would always be a problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case. My pup is doing well on the mix, firm stools, holding weight, shiny coat etc So from my experience, feeding both on same day isn'

Haye looked ice cool and confident, like we've said he's been there before, Tyson's the one who needs to hold his nerve, round 1 to Haye in the mental battle imo...
-
Anyone see the press conference? Bit of a weird one with Fury refusing to do a head to head stare down, don't get his thinking there, lots of nervous smiling from Tyson too, is he shook???
-
Great looking pup, mine's a similar breeding and looks similar age, wish I could say mine's retrieve and recall was as good though, she turns into a complete muppet as soon as we leave the garden! Good luck with her mate, look forward to seeing the pics as she matures

just to add to this, i reckon Tyson's best chance is late on, if he can avoid the bombs, imposes his size on the inside, keeps his jab sharp and varied and avoids going back in straight lines when put under pressure, he might have a chance in the later rounds. Even though Fury has been criticised about his body shape, he's clearly in good condition or he wouldn't be able to recover so well when he gets dropped. He'll be in just as good shape as Haye, so if he can drag him late on, you never know...

Surprised the fight has been signed, but they'll both be earning serious coin from it. I like Fury, a proper character, his fights always bring excitement and i bet he's a decent enough guy behind all the daft talk and shite he spouts on twitter (disrespecting Lennox Lewis was a step too far i reckon, big Lennox would still put him to sleep with 1 right hand, even after spending the last few years sat on a Jamaican beach smoking the herb ) I'm no fan of Haye after the Klitscko debacle, gave it the big un, got fans to shell out for PPV, then put in that performance, lame. He's a smart

love the look of that dog mate, had a pup of the same cross looked similar height and build, strong animal, bet he'll do great for you -
Met a few travellers through boxing, even fought a couple, they've all been hard as nails, once got a right hiding sparring a 14 year old skinny little thing when i was 20, every time i hit him he just snarled and charged at me again, i haven't dared to say a bad word about them since Don't think it's fair to generalise a whole community, agree that that some can act like divs, but i know plenty of white british idiots too, but it's always easier to slag off a minority group....

meant to be announced on Thursday mate i think. Intriguing fight, i like Furey but reckon he's out of his depth in this one and will get banjoed inside 6 rounds

Why do you say he,s soon out of the game he,s only just come into the game !!...........Packing your bags and going home when you cant win maybe how you conduct your life but the kids a pro athlete i imagine he,s made of stronger stuff than that ! Cracks me up the way folk who have probably never competed for anything more important than a packet of peanuts speak such bollocks about people who make a living out of competing ! This ^^^^^

and you say he's 'not good enough', so what he should just retire like you say, just because he's been found wanting at word level? Henry Cooper never won against the real word class guys, but had a great career at British and European level, guess he 'wasn't good enough' and should have quit as he lost at top level, and not bothered winning British, Commonwealth and European titles like he did?

sorry i'm probably confusing comments from a few different boxing forums where this is being discussed, you're right no-one insulted him on this thread. I'm not blaming his loss on nerves, i'm saying there's a reason he was gassed after 2 rounds, and i bet it's nothing to do with lack of physical preparation or fitness. The ability to be mentally relaxed in the ring is a massively important and under-appreciated aspect of a fight in my opinion, Price looked like he mentally fell apart last night when he was put on the back foot. Thompson also isn't a journeyman by any means, he's a v

don't think his chin is in question, he shipped about 20 flush shots before the stoppage and didn't go down. Lots of people saying he was unfit and not properly conditioned, madness, do they honestly think he didn't train like a beast for the biggest fight of his career? It looked to me that the occasion got to him massively, it's scary how much nervous energy/adrenaline can effect you physically and completely drain your energy in that ring, i think it's hard to understand if you haven't been in there and felt the raw fear that you do, combine that with an arena full of thousands of p

Yeah Martinez would be a tough fight for him, think it would have been a real 50/50 last year, but after Murray gave him a bit of a beating I reckon Sergio's best days are well behind him, he's pushing 40 and riddled with injuries. You're right with Golovkin making it look easy, he's so calm and calculated, a proper combination puncher rather than a 'flurrier' like Khan or Calzaghe type, every shot is calculated, and his footwork is incredible, just glides across the ring and cover distance so well. He had 340 odd amateur fights and only lost a handful, amazing. The fact that he's suc

Deerhound Ghound X Collie Ghound Best X For The Lamp
satan80 replied to one more's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Got a pup this breeding at the moment, hoping for good things, if she can do a bit like the dog in your vid mate I'll be chuffed! -
true, i do get a bit sick of some of the ultra rigid Barf/Raw followers, some of it is so dogmatic (pardon the pun), like you say it's easier to get more and more caught up on what is and isn't 'natural'. The evidence of what works and what doesn't is all anecdotal, so surely whatever works for you and your dogs is the best option, even more so when your evidence is based on how the dogs perform in the field. My pup get mainly raw, but started to introduce some Gain 20, more for convenience than anything else, a handful or two is a decent enough snack, easy to prepare and useful to have when

Calzaghe had a reasonably easy career though mate its not about age its about miles on the clock............You only need look at Calzaghes face and Froch,s face to see which one has been in gruelling tough punishing fights where you leave a piece of yourself in the ring and theres only so many times a fighter can do that.....any fighter. I dont think a peak Froch would have too much trouble with Groves but he,s just past that peak now and theres only so many times your heart and grit will get you out of trouble. that's a very good point, Froch has been in some brutal fights and alwa

Agree it's deffo worth a go for Groves, as you say a defeat for him isn't the end. If it makes business sense it'll happen, they've been on decent terms for years but noticed last few months they've both started mouthing off, slowly building the fight, they're not daft... If it happens I reckon Groves could do well, his trainer Adam Booth would devise a good game plan and Groves has shown serious power, i think he could buzz even the rock jawed Froch. But if it happened now I'd fancy Carl to drag him into deep water in the later rounds and put a beating on him. I'd rather see this fight

Top pics, i've been inspired, had enough of my piddly little 20 minute strolls with the pup, this weekend I'm off hiking through the Yorkshire Dales for a few hours, it will probably break me before the pup but so be it, photos to follow, if I make it back alive!

Nice pup mate

Thoughts? I think he'll deal with Paulie tonight, even if he gets messed around early, Malignaggi hasn't got the power to pose any threat offensively, so i think Broner will catch up with him at some point, late stoppage. Broner's got some real ability and has looked the business so far, his calmness impresses me most, he looks completely at home in the ring, comfortable at any range so can focus on figuring his opponents out without ever looking panicked, which is a very rare quality i think, even at the top level of the sport. He's got some flaws though too i reckon, footwork not am

cheers! I think i need to save my pennies for a proper camera though, got serious photo envy looking at some of the shots on this forum
