That should ensure they come back nice and strong. The council here are spraying Japanese knot weed, every spring they go around with the weed killer and spray the young plants. Next year they are spraying the same young plants. I am not sure what weed killer they are using but it does not seem to be effective. A chap on our allotments had a plot on the edge of the allotment and the knot weed was encroaching from outside his plot. He used round-up the first weeks of September to good effect. the theory was that as the sap was dropping from the plants it took the weed killer with it and the

I have said it before and will keep on saying it, when I see work of this quality from an artist such as Rob. He does actually capture the spirit and the life of the animals, bar for the half a fox drinking, which I just could not get my head around. His mounts show a moment in time of the life of the animal, his body positions ring true. Sometimes it is like looking a photo of the actual event that his poses convey, they are that true to life. I really do not know what you are arguing about? Paedophiles are in every nationality, race and religion on this earth. As long as there have been children you have had scum that will prey on them. ok my mistake but he wants me to send back item and will take £4.30 postage when £10.99 included in the price for postage You both made mistakes, you initially by pressing the BIN button and confirming your order. He should not have sent the item before you had paid, but perhaps he thought that he was helping you to get the item quicker? Even though the item was priced at £10.99 with free postage it still costs him money to post it. With you sending the item back it will cost you £8.60 and you will have nothing to show for it. So you might as well pay the £10.99 and keep the item. O

Terry, I tried many years ago to grow the romanesco cauli's and failed spectacularly. They are lovely to eat but do not grow as large as normal cauli's, even in the shops I have never seen them much over 7" in diameter. TC

Tell him it's your mistake for sending without payment, as a buyer you cannot get negative feedback. You will not be blacklisted just given a warning. Ebay bends over backwards for it's buyers and shafts the sellers all the time. But to have bought the item you must have pressed confirm, not just the BIN button. TC

A rough guide on how to make square meshed nets.

A few tips for knitting a square meshed net, I tried them off loops at first but found that the meshes would not be a consistent size so I took to knitting them off a pole, I found it a lot more accurate. Even then because of the double knot on the increase row and again on the decrease row it was difficult to get the knot in the centre of the mesh above. To counteract that effect I found that if I pulled the next few knots yet to be knitted square to the board I had a lot less variation in the mesh sizes, therefore a more even (accurate) mesh size. Looks like it could be a baby king mackerel. They are an Atlantic species but the west Atlantic. Fish from other waters turn up here often nothing unusual about that. About 25 to 30 years ago there was a spate of Skip jack tuna caught in Carmarthen bay they ranged in size from 15lb down to 3lb for 4 or 5 years there were one or two caught in the nets every year, I had one in beach nets on Cefn Sidan beach, that was the 3lb fish.
