Could you please quote me where I threw an insult at you. I would be really interested to see where I caused you grief. If you like I can put up every post I have made in this thread, then we will see who has been giving whom grief. TC

Do they ?.....how do you know ?.......That sounds dangerously close to the belief that animals have suicidal thoughts. As for your job as a homosapien is done and you are now surplus to requirements,my word .....if ever something could be said to push a man closer to God thats got to be it. Gnash, you seem good at adding two and two and coming up with five. You constantly put words in to people mouths. Re the last time I quoted you where I asked you to show me the quote where I had said what you had written. Of course you could not because I had not written it. If you bother to r

Without knocking your thought process Tiercel....how does this work...........ive heard you say many times about you having no fear of death and how you will accept your fate without a struggle ( or words to that effect )....infact your last post before this one said as much........ Yet you talk above about the basic similarity traits with animals..... Explain to me how that acceptance of death you have has any relation whatsoever to the basic fight or flight instinct virtually every animal in the animal kingdom possess ?.............It would seem that your logic for your own fate is t

One thing, that really puzzles me is the creationists obsession that we are not animals. Of course we are animals, do we not breed like them? Do we not nurture our young until they are ready to do the same themselves? Would we not lay down out own lives to save those of the next generation? We exhibit a lot of similar traits as even the most basic of animals, even though we have a far superior brain power the animal instincts are still there. Anyone who cannot see the similarities is seriously deluded, and has some real delusions of grandeur. TC

I think it boils down to this, no matter what your religion is. You are going to die. Fact. No matter if you have no religion, your going to die, fact. One thing I am sure of though is that I am going to die and at my age it will be sooner rather than later. I am quite comfortable with that, it holds no trepidation for me. The way I look at it is I have done my job as Homosapien I have ensured that I have produced the next generation, nurtured them into an adult, my work is done. I am now officially surplus to requirements. TC

But surely Von daniken does not rebuff the bible, he just puts another interpretation on it? TC

This was posted back on the 12th of August and have still not had a reply. I have asked their opinion 3 times since that post and have yet to have a reply. TC

I have asked 3 times yet have been completely ignored. That tells me they do not wish to talk about the possibility that he may be right with his theory? If I am honest, out of all the theories, his would explain a lot of anomalies in both creationists and evolutionist theories. TC

Debates like this, are like the Spring, you sow some seeds and wait to see what pops up in the summer. One thing you cannot do is knock a person for their beliefs, no matter what they are. You can try and educate them to your way of thinking, but calling names will get you no where. TC

Passed away to day, a very funny woman, and the only person to die looking younger than when she was born. TC

The Glen Scotia 12 is not bad for the price, or if you can get it any of the old Campbell town whisky and you will have a nice drink. I had a bottle of 25 year old from the old Campbell town distillery given me one year for Christmas, saddest day was when the bottle was empty. Absolutely beautiful to drink. TC

Pity you did not get to do some ratting, but it looks like a brilliant day anyhow. TC

Best Start For A Pup..ferreting Or Lamping?
Tiercel replied to Leesy's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
While I think skycats post was full of good advice, I actually prefer the lamp to start them off. If a dog is to be duel purpose, day and night, they both need a different type of skill sets from the dog. When a dog chases a rabbit in the day and it goes into cover, hedge whatever I would expect that dog to follow the rabbit. Same with hunting up the dog has to work for the rabbit, using it's nose and the wind. When you have a young dog say 12 to 18 months that has been brought on during the day, used to following prey and hunting up. It is a big ask of the dog to stop all he has learn -
best advice is to leave the dogs to it and get yourself safe Spot on. TC

I know it was a theoretical question, so here is another for you. You kill the baby and Hitler does not grow up to become what he did become. How does history read now? Questions like did the Nazi party still come to fruition? Was the bomb dropped on Hiroshima? Was there a WW2? Every action no matter how small has a consequence, what were the consequences of you killing that child? TC
-
All right then, what was the answer you gave? TC
-
For me, it would be alive. As to kill the baby would change the course of history. TC

spot on kay, I watched on the box where these macho vigilantes nearly killed a old man, just because he was a bit of a loner, he was (not) paedo , if I had seen these c**ts doing this to the old man I would have shot the c**ts deff . there sinking as low as real paedo acting like fookin animals , and animals don't act like this, I hate bullies with passion if there had been 2-3 of them I have kicked the shit out of them . if you grass anybody up make sure 200% right there are guilty in the 1st place As I stated previously we do not have the resources to find out if anyone is gui

I think conversations like this are all about being honest with yourself...........to pick the phone up on a man you have to know who he is............in the situation we are discussing be honest Socks if you had a name and address would you be able to sit in your chair and make a phone call ? Gnash, while I agree with your sentiments, as Kay stated there is sometimes smoke without fire. As the general public we do not have the resources to check or confirm the accusations. As Socks stated once they are on the radar it is a lot easier to keep tabs on them. By reporting your suspicions you

If it was simply a decision making process of course id do the right thing......but to me grassing is not a decision making process.....hey nobodies perfect right. So what you are saying is that your thoughts are a product of your upbringing? Believe me I am not knocking you, you are what you are, and that applies to all of us. Perhaps that goes a little way in explaining why a lot of communities do not report or censure paedophilia in their midst, if they are taught as kids that it is a fact that just happens? TC

While I do not agree with that type of though, I can see that you are not willing for the perpetrator to get away with the crime. What would happen if you were not in the position to do as you stated, as many people are? TC
