yeh to a nice 24 in grew bitch , you get some crackers , his size/power , and his good coat/feet and stamina , make real good lurchers for mooching in the day and good lamp dogs . you missed a chance of a good dog Bill , he put some size back in to Jaz pups deff .!!

though i read somewhere , that more (rich) pet dog owners , were having couple big breed dogs ( boerboel, etc) knocking about there place to stop the leopards taking there small dogs , it need something like them as leopards as massive strength drag a 120lb deer up tree easy.

lol , ive got seeland wellies , and there very good , comfortable , got side zip , easy to get/off £ 90 quid , they very well made not light , like the dunlop i had before, but had probs with there with not enough support in my heal , so needed more rugged type boot . deff plenty of calf room, more so if like my chicken legs lol .

my old 1x collie x grey Bryn was fast for this type x, you seen old Bryn and vin as seen him run , me self i think 1/4 collie plenty, still enough brain and enough speed to spare with 3/4 running dog , and as been said on some ground rabbits dont hang about so you need them gears to catch them. we all different in what we like in a lurcher, i quite like gsd in lurcher, i like there mind set , there like collie with good brain, but got more grit= bottle in them than a collie deff. true with breeding , what i was getting at, is ( any) large type dog are more prone to HD and elbow,knee, probs , now this came from 2 different vets , both said when dogs get over 100lb these probs are alot more common . i not saying all big breeds more so when well bred and hip scored etc, but hell of a lot are fooked. i asked all these questions regard when i was getting Buck m 1x gsd x grey , as alot of gsds are crap as we all know the health probs in the breed, you need to get them from working lines from E/E to get a healthy and good temp gsd today. they both said Buck should be

thanks mate, yeh he was that why he got best male at crufts 1985 , i was lucky in some ways , but a old bloke who had the breed 50 years picked him out of a litter , said you wont get much better than him in the breed. i miss the breed and missed him , but the breed crap to day, i quite like the Boerbol that prob better function animal than a bullmastiff , but there way to big they go 160lb to 190lb far to heavy in my eyes , 10st more than enough any guard breed 130lb i say for bullmastiff male bitch 80-90lb .

yeh , here we go , these are from my old camera , so not sure if any good, but if you look at him you can from his shape, and head shape he got great quality . the breed supposed to be roughly 60% mastiff , 60% bulldog, and Berwick was. my bitch was the normal size/shape bullmastiff you get . only bred 1 litter and alot of people wanted a pup because of Berwick , he was very good dog you can see he stud out as pup, but as ive said the breed was getting health probs, so left the breed and had lurchers , whichi ve got today .
