  4. considering flint08 is your relative and you used to lamp with them all the time i'm surprised you've only seen the litter run once. and you'd expect the dog to be watching the beam as they've been out since they could walk. the time is obviously showing in the dogs ability as we all know flint08 could make any dog more then average. for a boy whos only been keeping dogs for 3 years you are a fountain of expert knowledge, who apears to know it all i did wonder my self mate,so all the imformation your have gained about bull x and german sherperd x is not yours but storys you have hear

  6. mate you live and learn been told the above on many a time so it was my belief it was true and my last post dont see much wrong with it since better explained. and have watched many a hare course not recent but that was my understanding. still didnt answer my other questions with the hare coursing is it still point done . so many points for leading up so many for the turn of the hare and so on or has it become more track designed as i thought originally coursing was all about the points hence why lure simulated coursing is meant to be of the same process but not using the hare SPEED-one,two
  7. see thats what i thought at first then had loads of people like on here telling me a working stag hound is better then the deerhound x's but i fought a deerhound x was the stag hound. its confusing thats why wanted it cleared up. looked everywhere especially after my vet telling me he looked like he was a stag hound type just a little shorter. just like how ever much i work him and walk him he wont drop in weight really strong dog like a first x bull/grey with out the head but to me looks like deerhound/grey/whip but width of the bull/x or alsation x on those lines Take him to the state

  10. sorry lads i might look a fool but whats the make up of a stag hound as there not a reconised breed and everywhere i look for info on them all they say is visulise a deerhound x greyhound and there just seen as a greyhound proto type. so can anyone help clear it up for me as everyone who has seen my lurcher has said it looks like hes got stag hound in him. hes incredably strong and very musclar. no signs of bull in him or anything like that. even vet said hes got the structure of stag hound in him and since then been trying to look them up.
  11. wildhunter. tell me about it mine took me ages

  12. I don't think you're up to date with your coursing info Jamie. True coursing dogs on the whole are bigger and heavier but how do you make them out to be slower? If that was the case why have coursing dogs as surely someone would enter a "faster" track dog and beat the "slower" coursing dogs every time. You say " in a coursing greyhound its not so much down to speed its down to how many times the hare gets turned", I would ask you how many times have you watched coursing recently? There aren't that many turns in Irish park coursing, sometimes there aren't any. It's usually if not alw
