i knew of a couple , who next door neighbour , used to spy on them from the loft. it was a semi property , so the roofs were joined , and got up his loft and climbed over there side in the roof, and watched them from there loft . and when his mrs had gone up stairs t o have a bath, he been watching her . I wasnt with my ex when my daughter got to that age (my fault) but she ended up with a good 'un, 2 grandkids and nearly 20 years later I'm glad she was instilled with the right values from day one - and I take no credit for that Cheers, D.

My understanding is that the tradition dates back to at least the 16th century. They blacked their faces to avoid being identified. Spectators would give them money, but the authorities could accuse them of begging, which was a capital offence, at the time.that what i heard true, so the blacking of there faces is just part of tradition . That's the Beddy whippet I took in because it wasn't being looked after ray he's about 21 22 tts he's got a really nice nature quiet in the kennel my oldest daughter loves him so he here to stay now good on you for doing that , 90% lurchers make good pets, and good with kids , lurchers and bull terrier types are always in the rescue centers glad he got a good home
