I know what you mean, there one type of dog , I never have one as they lack bottle , my sister- in law had one a bitch , they make lot of noise but that it , get a well bred Alsatian from e/e lines you wont beat them, or a well bred rottie they very good .But one breed that are very good guards that don't mess about are well bred ridgebacks , they take some stopping deff , I seen one years ago on a farm it would bite you no prob good dog ridgeback . There's good and bad in all breeds Ray. You say your sister had a shit bag of a Doberman. My missus cousin has got 2 ridgebacks

yeh he is your right , he fit and knows how to use his power , and his jaw , thank feck he keeps it for in the field /hunting , he be nightmare if he was nasty with people and dogs. But he loves people great with kids, very gentle with them, and good with dogs, if they start on him , he moves away from them , his temp Brill . have good'un mate

good god, want expecting that from the post . must be terrible for you and his family .But you know what , this time of the year , can be a very lonely place for some people . I met lovely old lady on 1 me dog walks , she got a little white type dog shit'swho something like that lol. anyway she asked what I getting Buck+Bryn for xmas haha , thought well Buck nearly had his on the walk the other day with old Charlie boy lol. I said the wife will do them some veg+ gravy with there dinner , they will love it when I take it out for them in there kennel. she felt sad,

had nice mooch , norm only see few tree rats, and the odd rabbit. the dogs started to mark a thick bramble , Buck was going up and down like a nutter , thought bloody hell it only a rabbit .lol I just glanced old Charlie boy slipping away at the bottom of the other side of the edge , Buck went flat out down the track then jumped the b/w fence, but old Charlie made the wood , fair play was good crack , it bloody woke me up haha . I carried on walking my side with old Bryn, Buck was still the other side , but seen him run something but couldn't make out what it was with some of the edge my side.

I start with the slip lead, give him some runs , and once he calmed down a bit lol, do few runs loose no lead and it as worked out not to bad. suppose it one way of knowing there deff looking down the beam, because when loose they try to hunt up etc, as on the lead there still being controlled really, even looking down the beam . ive had some great catches in the past when he been loose, Buck chased a rabbit to the edge , say he lost it in the edge , I ve picked out another rabbit in the field , and he come out the dark either from behind or side on , and picked the rabbit

to me it all about kids, and sick people, I love it when kids and sick people , have presents , it make them happy, and lets them forget there illness for day or so.
