  1. never had prob with any stuffed mounted animal/bird , infact it always something i would enjoy looking at at any gamefair etc , but the fawn doesnt appeal at all , just not my thing .!
  2. I think you take it to another level though! As you are starting with an animal that has no history of working for man, we'll other than giving up it's coat after being locked in a cage, and has a bit of a reputation as being sharp the fact you have a mink working for you is the big thing ,breaking the dog to it would be secondary, video is remarkable by the way Got to agree with that, breaking a mink to man is a far more extraordinary feat for me than breaking the dog, mind you they really do work as a great little team, all credit to you Minkenry
  3. They wont be next to them. They have uses but you wont be catching a fox here where I live with a dog that doesn't have a load of sighthound blood in it. Hi Dan, how you keeping , you been doing much with your stags, you been getting many yotes ?

  7. spot on, i did try to tell i did blast it at her. She look at my 2 dogs loose , (no) leads and walking about enjoying the walk, but both have had lot of time put in to them, prob Buck bit more than Bryn, as Buck more of a full on type dog when ive worked him , than Bryn ever been. But not hunting Buck spot on well behaved no prob . So she thought she could do the same i reckon , with her rescue dog , and the dogs paid the price with its life though ignorance feckin shame i think .
  8. thats it ( traffic ) today loads more cars on the road , same here as kid years ago , everybody loosed there dogs out in morning , and 70% would get back home in one piece , but different story today
  9. a woman i see few times on my dog walk had a staff x type bitch, about 23-24in maybe bit of boxer in it, young rescue dog , nice temp. But it was totally out of control , would run around all over the place, if it was off the lead. .The woman was hungarian , not very good english , she see my 2 dogs off the lead , and she loose hers. Well my 2 are very biddable , Bryn dont really move that far away , Buck will play with other dogs, and likes to, but will come back if called, the only time he piss off if he seen a wild animal , which he as done few times lol, but he biddable no prob.
  10. Why does that sound like a voice of experience ? I hope so Socks Yep 25 years ago ... it's the same as giving up or starting anything ... it's down to your mental strength whether you succeed or fail ...... a strong mind will always win ..... spot on ken, I stopped 25 years ago , and it prob the only thing in my life , I made a success of . here tip for anybody trying to quit the dirty bloody things, when you get a craving for one, DRINK glass of water , it deff helps and if outside take a orange with you, and eat it , 1st it will help with craving, 2nd it will give you so

  13. I used to years ago when I kept stinkers , it was a must any pup that I had back then. But I was not over the top in doing it though . my 2 dogs now, ive never had to , because once they see a ferret box, and the ferrets are taken out, they know what going to happen .They deff know what a ferret is, even though I don't keep them, and they never been brought up with them . Infact ive had few lads say how good there are around them , I went with tomo and vin took old Bryn , he marked 25 rabbits that day, was round ferret all day long , he never botherd with them, same as Buck once he

true , it deff does , a greyhound is one of the healthiest dogs out there , same as salukis, whippets , all healthy animals , touch of greyhound blood , would help to reduce HD and other health probs in some of these large breeds .
  19. 100% right , they still feckin looking for revenge Stephen Lawrence case, that says it all . the black twats need shooting like rats in a barrel , and throw Diane abbot in as well, get rid of all the sick scum
  20. no mate, it don't matter where you from . I met the bloke yesterday , on my dog walk , he just got his pat x border terrier with him, he was running around with Buck playing . I asked him out it went, he said they put the needle in her, she looked at him then moved her tail bit then, then she was gone .His mrs had to go outside she couldn't handle it. he strong fit lad , does a lot of landscape gardening work. he left the old dog there , went out side to his mrs and then drove the motor , he said to me he had tears in eyes all the way home . he hoping to get another bitch terrie

would you say there more dominant than a male gsd , both being male dogs I mean . and I know gsd can be vocal , are rotties the same or quite , the ones ive ever seen had small dog with them jack etc , so the rottie was on the ball as to speak , was very alert . suppose it like you say regards Hip scores you got to get a pup with low score parents , then yes you be ok , but there lot of crap dogs out there rottie, gsd, even few bel mals are having probs , this was told to me from 2 different vets . yeh you deff got to do your homework and pick a pup carefully .
