various things you can do with a landrover and trailer to make a bit of money... especially when you got a yard to keep stuff in.. I tend to take free stuff, keep it until someone asks for it....then it makes a few quid..

the smell of ferrets does not keep rats away....fact. I have rats in and out of my ferret shed all the time. The front of one of cages has been chewed by rats...... They go through ferrets shit bags to get any scraps of ferret food left... Guaranteed...it does not keep rats away!

Went on a charter boat out of Arbroath today... Me, a mate and his young brother managed 41 and a cod between us..... So there still about... was a pretty rough day, with half the boat spewing their ring up

Got ma Dads binoculars.... he used them extensively for wildlife watching when he was alive............ Now I use them extensively for filling the freezer ...........oh the irony.........

We spent the last couple of winters in a defender. If you went through any depth of water, mere puddles, the wiring loom would take in moisture and cut out. Very very bad design. That motor spent its fair share of time getting towed 100+ miles back on the back of an RAC wagon! The mechanic couldn't fix it, no one could. The problem has been solved now because it was nicked, never to be seen again. what age JD? Newer ones seem to be pretty sorted on keeping going forward, my guess is your talking about a TD5 with ecu under the drivers seat..... ??

i have a Defender crew cab... It has now done 30,000 and is still going forward, despite its supposed huge reliability issues.... Went to Wales and back in it during the Summer........30+mpg at reasonable speeds...... And just gives supreme confidence off road, which is where mine spends a lot of its time... zero compromise there, where I'm concerned.. And yes, some of the other stuff will go off road..........but not where the Defender will go in standard trim, with nothing more that a decent set of tyres. Matty

Indoor accommodation on the left in hutches in the the shed... Outdoor accommodation on the side of shed.. Concrete lined, mesh sides.. truly ferret proof... they stay out most of time to be honest..
