  7. Pretty much as above. Looking at a Howa M-1500 in .223 as a foxing rifle....Looks to be a decent looking rifle. Any feed back would be great guys n gals..

  9. Hey DS, I have a .22 handgun and I am a memeber of a club in Co. Tyrone, just over the river Finn for me. Im guessing that to be seen as a pistol it would need to be rifled not a smooth bore, so it would be classed as a shotgun and then be under the minimum barrel length. Im open to correction on the above however, but I dont think you wouldn't have a hope of getting a 'pistol' of this style. Im fairly sure aswell that a 'pistol or handgun' cannot be used on any living ceature in Ireland and therefore that would rule out humane dispatch, they will just tell you to use a knife (wouldn't fa
  10. Hi all, just about to get my hands on my new stalking rifle, a Steyr Scout in .308win. Now its time to start thinking of which Mod to get for it. A mate has a T8 on his, and due to the barrel length from the stock it sits nearly flush with the stock and looks like a great big barrel, which i have to say i like. Plus because of the weight of the rifle, the T8 doesnt really affect the balance of the gun imo...Now the hard part, ive heard some bad things about the T8...whatelse is there out there??? Thanks in advance for any help guys n gals....Peace
  11. Got mine last week too, just in time, should have the license in my hands next week for my new stalking rifle, Steyr Scout in 308
  12. Once had to take a dump at the edge of a field of potatoes, some nice soft leaves were well within reach...the underside was very soft and the upper side was a bit rougher, so a few quick wipes with the top, and then the bottom to 'polish' the job off...Happy Days
  13. Yeah, it doesnt look like the kind of stuff that you would want to rip the arse out off crossing barbed wire!
  14. As above really, my girlfriend is going over to visit her Dad and im going over with her....Just wondering if there are are any decent Gun Dealers and Hunting Shops in the London area. Now im from the Irish countryside so i wouldnt be overly fimilar with the place, only been there once before...so if anyone can help it would be great, street names, tube stations, etc...... thanks lads n ladies
