I'm off work to look after ma kids due to three inservice days............ Whats worse is I voluntarily bought paint for the living room........... SUCKER!! Ma dogs had 10 stitches..... May as well show 'her' where ma hobby fund stash is as well.....that would finish the week off nicely......

for fecks sake...... we double insulated the loft, because we cant afford to heat our house...and both of us work!! And I spend half my life knocking down trees for folk to keep the log burner going!! What other country would do that for visitors.?????

in these circumstances a decent marking dog helps no end.....

Are the holes showing recent signs of use, habitation??? are they in open ground or cover? If they are in open ground, could be they are used as quick cover rather than living in .. If they are in deep cover, then it could be inexperienced ferret.. If you have big warrens, it could be one ferret is not enough, but you tend to get the ferret stay down the hole longer in those circumstances... (rabbits run around and dont bolt, staying underground...) Ill suggest again you find someone local to show you the finer points.............or come to Dundee, and you can have a masterclass

Why is that then?...... i think it helpes them bolt gives the rabbits time to setle down if I think our team, dogs, kids have made too much noise, Ill sometimes rest a warren for 10 mins before throwing a ferret down.....but not all the time...

How long is your ferret staying down the holes, and roughly how many holes in the warrens?

Mate....find someone local to show you the ropes...... it'll save on future frustration, lost ferrets and hours digging!!

Gnash......... they do have to work really hard, and thats what makes me proudest....... they do three evenings a week, and four before a competition... This was them in as a team when they travelled to the European champs.. Am gonna have to shut up now, otherwise Ill be spilling on ma keyboard....

Excuse ma wee indulgence..................but............ Ma wee man won the Scottish Karate league championships today for his age group......... He finished the day with a gold in kumate and Kata, beating both the novice and senior gradings.... His brother finished up second in the league with a Silver in the Kata..... Having spent a fortune sending them to Hungary for the European championships this year....................They've now qualified for the world championships for feck sake!! I must be heading for a fall, because I shot good today as well..........

Boots by preference, but I also have wellies for knocking about the yard.. Cant beat decent boots for support if you work hilly ground and are climbing over fences.
