If yu ever get the chance to watch a program called 'Lock and load' on Military channel........Watch it!! It was Full Metal Jacket's Gunnery Sergeant presenting a program on ballistics development through the ages. Black powder to Smokeless Lead core to jacketed. FMJ-expanding- fragmenting but the differences were shown on meat and balistics gel, not paper.... It was the best bit of insomnia I have spent for a while..

I have 300 7.5 Eley cartridges For sway.. Approx value £60 Not using them, been in the cupboard a couple of years... Make me n offer for swap of similar value... EG Handmade knife, Bipod, Decent Leather rifle slings, Electronic caller... Mk3 Ferret collar.. CO2 pistol suitable for trap dispatch etc..etc... WHY? No certificate....no sale...DOnt bother asking.. Today was what I would call our first proper ferreting session of the year... by that, I mean. no fecking about, and down to business. Rich arrived before us and had netted up and ferreted a couple of holes before we got there, so we arrived with 4 in the bag straight away... good start.. We carried on with proper netting and control etc... the first few holes proved productive. We had the lurchers on standby but didnt need their services, as the nets proved successful. We then ferreted a hole with the sole intention of getting ma dugs a run, which we did, and they did, and Bess came up t
