    And so the circle starts again, you buy a chocolate pup for top dollar, then breed it to another chocolate to 'get your money back', some one buys a pup and they have the same mentality, but it doesn't matter because after all 'they're from working stock'. No wonder it's so difficult for the decent lads to find the decent stuff with so much shit going around. And these prices that people are paying is the sole reason that dogs are getting stolen left, right and centre, because they have money value.

    Like my mate said to me the other day, once we have a cold spell the foxes start using holes, they don't know the weather forecast so will drop in daily regardless once it comes to this time of the year. And even more so when they start pairing up in the next few weeks. Ya gotta get out and find 'em...

    I haven't had mine yet? ordered it along with the deer book which is meant to be first class recorded delivery, hence the high p+p??? But still no books.

    The one I started at 10 month was marking to ground from 8 month old, a real early starter. He was a strong terrier also, so I thought he's wanting to go and he's physically strong enough to handle what's in there so let him go. He was in and out on the first time, just a bit unsure of himself but we got the result with him in the end, his second time to ground he seen the job through to the end without showing, a stiff 4 foot dig to a fox but he handled it, he ended up being a decent digging dog but having faults aswell, and died to ground at 3 1/2 year old.

    Earliest puppy I've entered was 10 month old, but I was naive back then, I wait till pups 14 month+ now depending on how forward the pup is, holding back a dog won't do them any harm IMO...
