  1. I've got a pup here that looks like it's going to make a similar stamp to that, nice bitch mate...
  2. Like has been said, they would stand out a mile, good luck finding them.
  3. I got a bellman box with the rechargable collar less than a year old off a lad that packed in for £150...
  4. A lot of dogs going missing all over the country, and they are never seen again. Either they're very good at hiding them or a lot of people are turning a blind eye and keeping their mouths shut. I'm not too far from you i'll keep eyes and ears open this way...
  5. Few pics of mine and mates dogs, past and present.
  6. Do you not have a photo of the bitch you could put on? Would make the dog easier to recognise.
  7. i like them P3D, would you be interested in making anymore?
  8. Seen this in our local paper yesterday(northern echo), wankers spouting more shite. Like has been said, any publicity is good publicity in their eyes...
  9. If the wounds scab up straight away I always pick them off and squeeze the wound to get any puss out. Moo and Skycat have given sound advice.
  10. Good reply there, and got a lot off your chest by the sound of it. lol. I think the 'always walk away leaving them wanting more' is the best part to entering,it has worked with the young dogs I've introduced to work. of course it has to be in them to 'want more' though.
  11. There is a few good young lads bang into terrierwork, myself included. IMO it's about having your head screwed on and willing to ask and listen for advice from the older lads...
  12. I think that's a bad way to look at it, to me 'being trustworthy' is the main attribute of a good dog man. If I had a dog worthy of being used at stud I'd only let lads I trusted use it and the bitch would have to be good in my eyes, because different people have different standards.
  13. Were the wound's like a fox or a badger Liam? i.e on top or underneath? There's an old bitch up our way my mate used to have that had scars on the middle of her back from an Otter.
  14. They must be more abundant than people think, I know of 3 road kill otters within about a 3 mile radius of where I live within the last couple of months. Also two different local lads that have bolted one when out looking for foxes in the season.
  15. Nice pups, don't need to guess what breeding they are. must be Stevens?
  16. I always use Seeland's range of trousers. They're comfortable and just the tool for the job IMO, and with most being between £60-£100 they're pretty cheap to replace.
  17. I'm sure the 'summer' or 'fine weather' hunters will be the death of a lot of the fox cubs this summer.
  18. The longer they are the more they fetch, small ones about £40, bigger ones about £100. So I've heard...
  19. Got your hands full there Dee, good luck with them mate.
  20. I know what you mean with the Bellman coming down on the side of the dog, we've had it over and over through the last few seasons. You say that you push the bar through to locate the tube then dig, I've never tried it as i've always thought if daylight hit the dog and quarry it would spook the quarry and try to push the dog a lot harder than if you were just digging down?
  21. Nice dog there mate, good luck with it.
