  1. Very thin on the ground round my way, Rabbits definitely in a bad place, just hope they can come back from this,
  2. I heard it on the radio but thought they said mixy and someone put it on Facebook . Mankind will always meddle with things that don't need changing. Its a shame, I just hope the hare and rabbit will get through this. As for running dogs and pest control with them.its us that always comes of worse.ihave a picture of a hare shoot on fens last year were 246 was taken that day. How many would the average meet take.the ban done nothing for the hare. Atb

My grandfather always had a lurcher and to b honest I karnt remember when my family didn't keep a running juckel or two, Most had bedlington in them,and I always remember a Fawn ruff coated dog that slept under the trailer he wouldn't sleep in his box,he was a good dog. First hare dog i see was my uncle's he had been to Ireland to collect a stunning Black pup,and he popt in to show me dad, That Greyhound x whippet took many hares and it was seeing him run that got me thinking, I got two collie Greyhounds when I was 14 they mostly hound blood.   8. I use the ceramic bulb heat lamps.they last year's but bit expensive to run, I fit mine to a thermostat to stop to keep right temp, Got spare one here.might need new bulb but overall it's in good Nick, PM me if you interested in it.atb

Five years ago they was good numbers on the Land I work and l took double figures few times but now Iucky if I see any . totally gutted as ferreting is my thing through the season,of course I love lamping ,mooching but for me nothing beats ferreting. Plenty of other things for my dogs around but it's going to be a blank season round my way on the rabbits.   11. My young bedy Greyhound as a rash up the inside of her back legs,looks like little spot's from her hock all the way up. I thought it was because she was going in and out of the Brook when being walked and the wetness was causing it to get sore, The rash,sore gos right up to her belly. I have cleaned with hiby scrub and put sudo cream on it for last couple days and it's going now. As anyone else had this problem? I was told that dog's running in Grass can get This? Spots are filled with puss .it didn't seem to be causing any pain discomfort to her at first but it looked sore

  13. I buy full sheep carcus from small holding up the road and mix some mince or tripe into it. Mutton costs pound a pound so it's costing forty quid ruffly for full sheep. I mix mince,tripe with it, I get This from butcher who is cheaper than anything on line and you know what your feeding,not mushed up crap.

  15. Good luck with them, my brother keeps Russell's and they're cracking little dog's and demons on rats and he does a bit of digging to them,b good to see some pics,atb
  16. Feed one meal at six and they get lamb Bones to chew on every couple of days, feeding mostly mutton as getting full carcuss very cheap also beef mince and bit's of chicken and what ever scraps are going. My dog's do really well on one meal a day .atb

As above go back to basics Split them up, I have a whippet who comes straight to hand with his catch but when on a walk if he doesn't want to come back he can be a fcuk wit, Go to a small paddock that fenced of and get some one to one with them, you soon sort it as long as you put the time in. I hope you feeling better, your dog's soon help you get leg's strong again.atb

  19. It was good to watch 9 dog's hunting the scrub together,they was noisy though but so was the owners who got together through season to hunt Coney, I'd love go northern Spain hunting.

  23. I was in Mallorca couple years ago and watched a pack of Ibiza hounds working rabbit, tuff juckels and the ground they worked was mostly rocks, good luck on getting out with a pack.
