    The in laws were coming for Sunday lunch and My whippet had joint lamb of the side ha ha I find it funny but the misses not inpressed .i took dogs for a walk and left them to eat toad in hole lol.

    Thanks I'm happy way she's coming on bud ,I got her from Coventry way ,she's a year old tomorrow and she's big for a bitch she's standing 23tts and still growing ,she make 25 tts I think . i will pm you later . atb

    Most whippet pups will work if anufe is put in front of them. kc or none ped you pick your pup and do your best by it ,at end of the day they plenty of good working whippets out there that don't come from Laguna or well known kennels .forget the names and get the pup you like and I don't think you b disappointed .forget overs legends and make your own. atb

    Here's my bedy greyhound bitch ,she stands at 23 tts and got a little bit to grow still ,she's one year old so next season will b her first.

    over last couple years numbers have dropped on local ground and places that held good numbers are Barron.most iv took on days ferreting is six this season .if the numbers were there I'd like to give longnetting at night a go .only been out with others and must b twenty yr ago .

    A fella called Abraham Stanley took me under is wing when I was a boy and he would talk about old days befor mixy when large numbers were taken with webs and wands.quick set wasn't about in them days ,and he had a saying "if it's not broken don't try fix it " he would have two fifty yard nets on pins that were placed in a old donkey jacket ,he made a pocket each side for his nets and a quiver for pegs . he tryd to show me how to knit nets but I never did get hang of it.he showed me how to dub game cocks ,set snares .traps . i miss abe ,he sadly passed away far to early .he loved

    if I stopped ferreting when I see young I don't think I'd get out .i was seeing young 2 or 3 month old in Dec and dug few nests out early Jan . ferreting changed from when I started 35 yr ago .

    Been seeing young rabbits since end Nov ,they breeding all year now .lets hope numbers pick up . no doubt we see young about and think they coming back then mixy will hit them again . more badgers on my land than coney ,and haven't seen many foxs about .

    I have taken 3 hobs in ,as some fool dumped them on local horse paddocks .they look like last years young and they bit nippy but with care and time they settle down. i can only keep one myself so if anyone looking for albino hob then please pm me .im in Northants and they are ;free; to good homes. atb

    Str I've been seeing young since Nov ,so they must b breeding all year round .when I first started ferreting I was always told to call it a day once young were about . i start in Nov and finish ferreting in Jan now ,when I started out I'd b ferreting from oct to Feb but times change . little dog doing well for you, heres a pic of my pup you asked about on different post . atb

    I was told on hunting days you might see the full village turn up .and most dogs are trencher fed and belong to several locals but kenneld togever .

    I went to look at a kennel of Ibizan hounds few years ago on Mallorca.they was also 4 galgo kenneld ,they was all in great shape and for any dog to run that ground they must have good feet .

    I got a dog here ,been on the bench for two years because a virus he keeps getting ,some weeks he fine and I tempted to get him out but I know for one day out it's weeks of pain for him. hes a good dog and I could never let him go ,and the misses thinks world of him .

    Coats getting better as she ages,she's 23tts so ideal size for land I work.shes got good temp and coming on fine ,next season b her first,so far I'm happy with her .

    are you looking for a pure :kc: or a no ped , I like the bwra dogs ,Dave slight might b a good starting place ,I know he still involved in raceing them in Yorkshire .and I'm sure plenty lads on here will no more than me .i hope you find what u looking for .atb
