  1. Good on the old girl , its getting worse on here ,lads put decent post up to get the "key board warriors"slagging others of all the time . if lads got nothing good to say then keep spitful thouts to themselves .

  3. I would never get a bitch done befor first season.and vets shouldn't tell you to , makes sence to get her done if you don't intend having pups . i don't think you see much difference in work etc but keep eye on her wait as they pile the pounds on . Atb

  5. I lost my old hob last winter to old age ,I'm thinking about getting a young hob done soon .i always figured it b a few months befor putting them back together .i will use a mates hob just to make sure this year as no plans for kits .

Thanks mate,I'm brining a bedy greyhound on ,she yr old now and she was to young to do much with until last few weeks when I started taking her ferreting .just short trips out and one thing at a time .she marks true and she's got great nose like all bedlington blooded dogs .she took bolter on the run and steady around nets . I'm hoping she make good all rounder and so far I got no complaints . atb
  8. Have some fun ratting with ferrets,used to go ratting around old pig farm as a kids ,take a few pugs and Arm ourselves with poles,sticks .we take my pals parents border collie and it was good ratter.we spent many happy days around the pig farm.

  11. Took the young lurcher and two young Jill's out yesterday and we had a great few hours .

  15. Its a great feeling when the sapling by your side takes first rabbit, you did the right thing by calling it a night once he got fur in his mouth. Atb
  16. Over the years I've seen blacks, Ginger colours and they was a few black and white rabbits about few yrs ago. I was always told not to take the "parson"by the old rabbiting men , I think it's wild coney breeding with escapees.
  17. I have two albino hobs looking for good working homes.i found theses hobs on local horse paddocks and two have gone to homes and are working ok. They are healthy and doing well, maybe a bit fat but soon work some of it of once out ferreting. Please pm me if interested.
  18. Good to see youngsters getting into ferrets.they will be plenty of shows coming up once spring is here. The first pet i was given was a hob ferret kit . must have been 7 yr old and no better pet than a playful fich.
  19. Thats what they bred for ,best thing to do is make sure they got collars on so you can find them.
  20. My dog was 3 when I got my bushing bitch and he was fine with her,they become Best mates. Busher now five and runner 9 so I broke my golden rule and got a bitch pup to take over from old dog. It's taken a year nearly before they all settled and ok with each other.it was when the busher broke down and pup went into season as well that the two girls started to get along a bit to much lol . My old dog he would let pup do anything and she proper pesters him and instead putting pup in her place he just hid from her . he's ok now but we keep eye on things and don't let pup pester him
  21. A kc or working pedergree is only as truthfull as person who wrote it.folk on both sides of the fence are breeding for money and care nothing about welfare of a breed or type.
