    Thats what they bred for ,best thing to do is make sure they got collars on so you can find them.

    My dog was 3 when I got my bushing bitch and he was fine with her,they become Best mates. Busher now five and runner 9 so I broke my golden rule and got a bitch pup to take over from old dog. It's taken a year nearly before they all settled and ok with each other.it was when the busher broke down and pup went into season as well that the two girls started to get along a bit to much lol . My old dog he would let pup do anything and she proper pesters him and instead putting pup in her place he just hid from her . he's ok now but we keep eye on things and don't let pup pester him

    A kc or working pedergree is only as truthfull as person who wrote it.folk on both sides of the fence are breeding for money and care nothing about welfare of a breed or type.

    My line of thinking for years was never more than two dogs,they just a lot easier to care for and as long as the two get along its not much harder than Haven one Along comes a pup ,and a year later every thing is now coming into place.but they was time's in last year that made me rip my hair out and get to the point where what I love to do was becoming stressful and my dogs and family could see this. My pup a year old now and the other two have excepted her into the fold but it was hard work. My old dog started to shut down and my busher growled every time she set eyes on pup.t

    A lad in next village as two deerhound x grey and they ticking all the boxs for owner .the dogs stands about 30tts and bitch about 25 tts .bitch came from Dave plates and she's a good juckel with good temperament and plenty drive ,the dog not so good around other dogs and people he don't no and took bigger stuff easy in his day .i like the x but not my kind of juck .but world b sad place if we all liked the same .

    I took my dogs for check up at vets and I got wormers and flea treatment why I was there . i use wormer first then flea treatment ten days latter.all 3 dogs were treated at same time but few days after flea treatment my whippet x came out with a rash on the treatment area .this then turned very sore looking and weeping fluid. i cleaned the area with hibi scrub and put savalon onto area and it's getting better now . as anyone else come across anything like this ?

    Thanks to every one who posted ,I think we Over it now .im still going to rest her for a month to make sure ,and I gave the other two honey and kids cough medicine when I gave it to her . again thank you

    Round my way we had plenty rabbits but not many hares up until about six seasons ago .now I'm lucky to see a single rabbit on same land ,every year I see young about and think they coming back but mixy kicks in as well as rhvd virus and wipes them out. with out the rabbit a lot of wildlife going to suffer and prederters such as fox badger etc going to take farm stock a lot more .the rabbit is a food source for so many and taken it out the circle will make a lot wildlife suffer . why mankind got to fcuk with nature beats me . as for coursing I was reading a peace in shoot and som

    Love the old pics ,did you travel up Caithness or live close to it .my dad and his brother used to travel to Montrose every year when I was a lad .my dad said he got sick of rabbit he cleared that many .how times change. atb

    Nice jucks mate ,like you I haven't done much this season due to home ,work commitments . i went up Cumbria to look at a litter of b collie grey x gwp x grey few yr ago .my pal took a dog pup I will try get a pic of old phone . atb

    The in laws were coming for Sunday lunch and My whippet had joint lamb of the side ha ha I find it funny but the misses not inpressed .i took dogs for a walk and left them to eat toad in hole lol.

    Thanks I'm happy way she's coming on bud ,I got her from Coventry way ,she's a year old tomorrow and she's big for a bitch she's standing 23tts and still growing ,she make 25 tts I think . i will pm you later . atb
