You are right about different needs.i grew up on the road with hoss drawn wagons and with 9 kids to feed my father and older brothers would b out putting meat on the table .they had no choice as if they didn't get flesh they b a few hungry chavies next day .and yes I know what hunger is and I don't like it so as long as my juckels help keep freezer full I'm happy man. a lot are in the lurcher game as a hobby ,just something they like doing and nothing wrong with that.

My young bedy greyhound had her first heat and my busher broke down same time so I kenneld them togever with no probs, i just noticed my young bitch as started to cough a bit,and she looked out of sorts yesterday , they are back in doors now and busher is fine .just the young bitch looks under the weather . i don't want to take her vets yet but I don't want it to get worse. i try keep her warm, quiet, and rest her . be grateful to hear how folk deal with kennel cough. atb

  16. the busher she kennelled with becomes a better worker just prior to breaking down.ive worked her while in season as she don't really change to much ,the pups finding firstseason a bit over whelming ,she's finished spotting but still very flirtatious . i have a dog on yard but he ain't set eyes on them since first sighn of them on heat.he had few whines but not to bad. i remember as a kid if bitch was on heat u see plenty strays etc ,all waiting for a chance. im going to get her out ferreting next couple days see how she goes.atb
