I have numerous slips and leather leg O mutton bags for my shotguns and rifles but to be honest I don't used them much if at all when I take a rifle out night shooting. I just plant the rifle on the back seat and go. I've never had any problem with this. It doesnt look like those bags pictured above have ever seen any mud or blood.

I thank you for bringing my error to my attention. I blame it on Brexit,???., And the sun was shining on the screen, ??. I can understand applying for five to avoid paying for variations over the cert period. I very much doubt that any authority would give five at first application though. All a bit academic really. He joined the forum, made one post and never came back to communicate after that night. We could only speculate why:... What we couldn't understand was that how can any business turn away any trade.? There were 5 of us and we just wanted a bit of informal sporting. We called mid wales and there was no problem at all. they were friendly, helpful and there is a really good ground with a big variety of setups. We were there late afternoon and were concerned that we were holding them up from going home and stopped shooting. We had shot several hundred and decided to stop but they weren't in any hurry. Just read the two previous posts which affect this post............Personally I wouldn't be keen to take the gun or cartridges to any dealer, ect. These things have a habit of mysteriously disappearing when handed over to third parties. This is a serious failure of either cartridge manufacture or design. I don't see how the cartridges managed to develop enough pressure or impact to sheer these off. The gun development would have been designed to withstand proof+ pressures, so to generate enough power to sheer these off surely the barrel would been bulged or other parts damaged. Did the ca

It is a good thing that they aren't scared by animals and insect ect but it isn't anything that I would encourage because there are poisonous ones out there that could cause life changing injuries. It's like some caterpillars have hairs that cause bad rashes if touched. I'd just say look but leave them alone.

Like I said kill them all.!! take no prisoners.!!! my sister got a bite from one and it turned quite nasty. It took many months to heal up. I don't give a flying f**k as to how big it is.!! Shoot it.!!! When I was a kid I had a Wembley junior 177 air piston and I used to get cotton wool or bog roll as wadding and load a matchstick in the front as a projectile. I got pretty good at shooting spider's.. this came to an end when one got splogged aĺl over the new bedròm wallpaper. Mum wasn't best pleased and I was advised to stop doing it now.!!! Haven't come across them yet. The problem is that like Joker cartridges. A friend bought a load, they were cheap, burn clean, smoothe shooting and were effective but they were a here today gone tomorrow commodity. Back to the threads about Baikal record cartridges from years ago. Suddenly not available. You don't know what these random cartridges are going to be like and when you find out that they're good you can't get them again. How much were these Mellor cartridges.?

So it's not just us then? The Mrs goes up to bed earlier than me and the other night there was her beating going on. It was like the James bond film. we've controlled several large spiders in the last few weeks. I look for the small females that the big males follow and try to fix them. One night I was woken up by her going Looney in bed. A tarantula had made the mistake of absailing down onto her. Bloody spiders. Bloody insects in General.

Advice for night vision optics

A small technical issue here....It is illegal to shoot winged vermin at night by lamp or illumination. This would include night vision eqpt. Night is classified at 1 hour after sunset until 1 hour before Sun rise. This is the same as shooting game such as roosting pheasants. Potentially you could end up have your rifle and kit confiscated, issued with a fine and a criminal record if you go out shooting pigeons at night. Well mostly I do their things but a few weeks ago I slipped and strained my ankle ligaments so by the end of the day all I want to do is sit and take the weight off of it. C 19 is changing the way the population operates. Shopping is being done online and delivered, computers don't go to the office anymore, they work from home, ect ect. I heard that it takes about 6 weeks for a habit to become instilled. The tv is so crap that the Mrs and I have both sat here tonight like Zombies with earphones on and using our pads. The BBC ect will become isolated because we as a populace will have moved to Netflix or YouTube ect ect. Personally I can't wait for the tv licence to be scrapped. There's nothing worth watching on there at all.

Perhaps the authorities regard certain persons as expendable and because they have been trimmed back think "well if these fellows want to go Mbongo, well let them". After all it just lets things sort of self stabilise. We used to work on the idea of either a war or petulance to thin the population out to manageable levels.

This all fake. Everyone knows full well that it beats down with horizontal rain every day without fail in Scotland. That it doesn't get light until about 10 am and that's at the height of summer.!! Sod em, let them know your out there. There's a load of stuff on here about 410 hushpowers, but I've never used a silencer on any shotgun. Well I did but that was a long time ago when I first started on a 410. That lot was soon binned and I got a 12 bore. Shoot to kill.

We have a pond about the same size and shoot it every week. The duck always come off the pond at the same places over the surrounding trees, give or take a bit to the wind. So two guns sneak into position about 30 paces out away. I sneak in around the back of the pond with the dog at heel and a clod of mud in my hand, to a point behind a bramble bush I throw the clod over the top into the pond and launch the dog forward.
