What’s mixi like for everyone in your areas? Dogs picked up a few mixi ones lately on walks, numbers aren’t great anyway so a real blow when mixi starts picking them off before the seasons even properly started.

Are you Scottish lads going to just carry on as normal or go without a dog or sadly just give up?

I genuinely hate that man. Wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire.

It’s bad enough a bloke has “won it” but f**k me he looks like what he is a bloke in a dress!!!! Some of these trannys you really have to double take but he is f**k ugly. What’s going on in the bloody world?? Madness.

I had always had lurchers until I got my current pure whippet. He has done everything a lurcher could do (when it comes to rabbits that is) and has really impressed me with his nose and brain. Your pup looks an absolute cracker! Good luck and keep posting updates please.

Poland having referendum on eu membership
Bobtheferret replied to Lenmcharristar's topic in General Talk
Just like all those trust worthy scientists with covid you listened to ?. Surely even you can see we were horrifically manipulated into lockdowns that have now had shocking consequences for society especially the younger generations. The dissenting voices were shut down nazi style no debate. Real science encourages debate not shuts it down like your climate change scientistS and covid scientists have done. Without dissent science dies. -
Poland having referendum on eu membership

Decent chance of vote leave in Poland I’d say -
That is correct for RVHD1 but not the now dominant RVHD2 that can effect rabbits if all ages.

Some people are questioning it but not the right ones. The whole mainstream media and political class basically backed lockdowns and forced experimental vaccination which means to now say that those things were wrong is to admit they were wrong which politicians will never do and the media will only do if told to do so by a court. This means as usual basically everyone in power says nothing and hopes it all goes away. The scary thing is that now they have done it once watch them use it again, next up climate lockdowns. Unless you’re rich. Then do what you like and f**k the environment.

I am at a caravan park in camber right on the beach and it’s crawling with rabbits. The fields around it I have been walking the dogs in also, not great rabbit land either it’s to flat so will get wet in the winter but plenty there despite loads of people. I say that because if the virus is a easily spread as I hear then the volume of people from all over the country means it must be about here ( I think it’s very widespread now anyway). This suggests to me that over hunting is as big a problem as the virus, another place I know (woodland England land) is literally overrun but the estate it ba

The real scandal is how debate was completely shut down, there was no cost benefit analysis and the media for the main were awful at providing a balanced view especially the BBC. The government actually used a nudge unit to discredit and remove anyone going against the narrative. Had anyone done any decent research every lockdown bar the first one would have been seen to be unnecessary (that was to but at the time that perhaps wasn’t clear). I lost friends and argued with family that the whole thing was bollocks but feel completely vindicated now. The damage done has been immeasurable both to

Jill jab delvesterone discontinued
Bobtheferret replied to Luckee legs's topic in Ferrets & Ferreting
Get a vasectomised hob for sure. Overall it’s cheaper and much safer for the Jill’s than a hormone injection. Obviously in a pickle for this summer but maybe see if someone would lend you one? -
Things are shit in this country for sure but the courts have always taken a dim view of poaching and some draconian punishments handed down over the years. Best thing to do is keep your head down don’t park your vehicle in an obvious place and probably keep your own company and don’t post everything on Facebook. I poach but try and be very careful about how I do it, it’s the attention seekers that piss of the land owners that then call the law.

Not round my way, deer and badgers are taking over the countryside. Wish someone would cull them both back to manageable levels. Haven’t had any badger culls in my area and the deer are shot but not even remotely in high enough numbers as no one wants them

The free speech is utterly irrelevant. Linekar would have know where near the presence he currently has if it wasn’t for his bbc work, he retired 30 years ago. He has been told implicitly to stop wading into politics and he hasn’t. Simple. Not about free speech it’s about respecting your boss and the organisation you work for and the fact the bbc are (or at least should be) the only truly impartial broadcaster around due to the way they are funded (licence fee). Go and work for someone else and you can say what you want Gary you crisp munching, socialist, jug eared c**t. And you can take Packh

The increase in badger numbers has a hugely negative impact on rabbit numbers. I have a very good permission (well used to be a very good permission) ruined by badgers. They dig out the nests takeover the warrens and cause a lot of damage to the population.
-
To right mate! That’s over £60k a year! Nearly double the average wage for the uk for catching rabbits!
-
With so many lads with rabbit shortages in their permissions I find it absolutely incredible that a tight old farmer would pay someone £2.50 let alone £250 to clear rabbits! I reckon he is bullshitting you. A single post on a site like this would have people knocking down his door why would you pay?
-
Decent idea.
-
That would be great thanks. Am I right in assuming the NV007 simply goes onto your existing scope? So no need to change the whole thing?
-
What would you want for it mate? Thanks
-
That’s not each to their own that’s wicked. I have always said if you kill a game animal you eat it or put it in the food chain somehow. The argument for pheasant shooting, deer stalking etc falls apart when you start burying edible game.

Never been and wouldn’t. From what I’ve seen and heard it’s like shooting fish in a barrel and yet we coursing people are the ones that are called cruel. The ban has without doubt had a huge negative impact on hares.
