They're excellent rifles Jeff ........ my old .177 had the same stock. The mag system can be a bit fiddly at first but, you'll get used to it pretty quickly
-
Nice big free range chicken from the local butcher for yesterdays dinner And enough left to make sarnies for work today.
-
He looks like Streaky from the film McVicar.

I've never known anyone's missus kick them out as much - fair play though, you make the most of it Most of us just go down the pub and grab some flowers from the garage on the way back
-
Greb, have a read - the effects of shift work and disrupted patterns aren't to be under estimated, especially for those of us creeping into middle age. Our minds and bodies are conditioned to be awake in the day and asleep at night so, it does have an effect, physically and psychologically. Shift Work Health Risks: Heart Disease, Ulcers, Obesity, Diabetes, Depression, Accidents WWW.WEBMD.COM Shift work may raise your risk of health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, obesity...

I've never really watched family guy but, I'll look that one up

Good on you Jimmy Let's hope that's 2 more young 'uns that continue with rifles

More of a sad truth than a joke ........
-
Try it on the Westons - mum went mental at me when I was younger for giving our old cat Guinness. ........ it fell of the sofa, walked into the patio door and threw up on the living room carpet

We get a few dust devils in the stone yard at work when the days are warm and dry. They can be anything from just a few feet tall to around 30ft, they're not powerful, just enough to pick up a bit of dust - it looks good when there's a few at the same time. Not so good if you get caught without your safety glasses

I don't know if I'd call it child abuse - knowing what we know now, it's not good and I wouldn't condone it. My missus used to smoke when she was younger but, she gave up over 16 years ago when she became pregnant and never smoked again. I was born at the end of the 70s - my mum smoked while she was pregnant (different time then I suppose) ....... I'm 6' 2" and never had any health problems - a bit overweight but, my job is active and I'm fit and strong enough to put in a decent days work.
-
Mine says the same today ......
-
Claim back everything you can - God knows you get enough taken off you. I don't know if it's the same for self employed but, I can even claim for washing my work clothes - it's not a huge amount but, it's another bit that's mine, not theirs.

This is just outside Swindon right now - I'm glad I froze 2 bottles of water last night.
-
Get a couple of goats - them little pygmy ones can be quite funny. Then, when the grass is at a manageable level, you can knock one over the head for one of your curries
-
Have you been wearing it wrong the whole time?
-
I've never really worn one anyway - my job has me outside, away from other people for most of the day and, the local shops have never really enforced it. They put signs up but, they've never asked. ........... I'll probably still put a mask in my pocket if I'm going into a shop - if some old dear looks worried and I can't avoid her, I'll put it on for a bit. I don't mind wearing one if it genuinely puts someone else at ease but, I definitely won't wear one if some little Covid stasi starts acting like a dick. My own feeling on it is that 99% of the masks don't do
-
Had a couple of these last night - they're nice when they're really cold.
-
Nice one Jimmy I hope you find someone good for it ??
-
Just make what you like, how you like it mate ??

I think the older I get, the more frugal I get, the more I get annoyed at how our taxes are pissed away. It's why I like to see ordinary tradesmen doing Saturday morning cash jobs.
-
'Protect the NHS' They've used this all through Covid and, this morning on the radio they used it again while talking about possibly taxing fizzy drinks and sweets. ........ being cynical, they know a lot of the British public will have an emotional response to anything concerning the NHS so, this looks like their new trigger to gain a buy in - to be used whenever they see an opportunity. If you ask me, they'd be better off protecting the NHS by stamping down on health tourism, chasing the money that other countries owe for us treating their citizens and, divert

I wish those posh news reader birds had to use the name Keith Cuntabout in their reports
