  1. I agree 100% and you will still be able to shoot through the netting.
  2. I bought a similar two seat version for bunny ambushing but in truth, I have had it for over two years and it has never been out of the bag other than to try it in the garden to see how tricky they are to put away. Must get it out and try it in the field. http://www.a1decoy.co.uk/2-man-hide-tent-36-p.asp Phil
  3. I think if I was buying again, I might be tempted to go for one of these as they work both in daylight and darkness. A number of guys on another forum have them and seem to be well rated. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Digital-Night-Vision-Infrared-IR-Monocular-Scope-Scout-Laser-Ranger-Hunting-New/163076339854?epid=25010745486&hash=item25f81b788e:g:EAIAAOSwT5tWPX~T Phil
  4. Dean, have a short drive over to Sheffield to visit Charlie Caller (Tim) who is a master of tuning and he will turn your savage beast into a smooth shooting rifle that you will be amazed at ............................................ I know. Phil
  5. Many a true word spoken in jest me thinks Mitch Phil
  6. Oh bloody hell Si, what a dork, cheers mate. Phil
  7. Villaman on the airgun section was saying a little while ago that his pal has the 355 on his air rifle and is very pleased with it. Mitch also uses 970 units but said the 355 was really good. Hope that helps Phil
  8. That was my point, I am not too happy with my existing stock but not sure if it is worth the money spending on it. It was never a tackle tart approach to shooting or gun ownership. Phil
  9. Oh well, never mind, at least you got out in the fresh air and made new friends with the horses. ? Phil
  10. Sorry but Crawfords Shooting Supplies in Scunthorpe do sell s/h units which may help. Tel no 01724 846 000 Hope that may help Phil
  11. Nice one Mark. I have an Endurance scope and without doubt it is the best scope I have ever owned and what a pity they have now changed it as well as wacking the price up. Enjoy it mate Phil
  12. No idea of pricing but be sure they will not be cheap. I am going to look around at the game fair in July to see what is on show.
  13. Must admit that I do not like the stock too much on mine and have been toying with getting an after market adjustable stock which I really like the idea. something like this. http://www.grsriflestocks.com/ Phil
  14. The other pellet that was superb in my 100 was the Bisley Magnum which again will lift your FPE, just in case your groups are not to your liking with JSB although I can't see that happening. Phil
  15. I spoke to a guy with a Wildcat .25 fac Ian and whilst he really liked the gun, he found it rather twitchy with 47fpe up the spout whereas the Impact has that little bit of extra weight. Get that fac sent off for Jimmy, I don't know why you didn't have a chat with the boys in blue at the show a couple of weeks ago. Remember what I said, ONLY APPLY FOR THE .25 PLUS MOD IN FAC AIR.............................NOTHING ELSE. Good luck me ole duks. Phil
  16. I will say this much Mitch, Tim has a touch like a midwife mate, you would not regret having him do the work, I promise you. If you then decide to drive up to Sheffield and take the gun there, I will pop over to meet up. Tim makes a nice cuppa. Phil
  17. Nice going and very nice scenery to shoot in. I also have the 1417 but with a sporting stock although I far prefer a thumbhole any day. Phil
  18. A nice holiday AND something to look forward to when you get back......................................................best not spend too much in duty free. Phil
  19. I must confess that it would be good to see one in action as Jimmy did because looking at them at the shows is not really any good. I am guessing just as a night time range finder was a game changer for me, this spotter must take it to the next level, not sure that for bunny / rat shooting a thermal scope is best suited although a thermal spotter must be superb to find shot quarry as well as spotting them in the first place. I need a nice little win on the lotto because my pension will NEVER get me a thermal spotter. Phil
  20. Well well well Jimmy ................................................. Impact .25 fac ..................................................what have I been saying for the past two years !!!!!!!! Until people have actually tried them and seen what they are capable of, I will go no further, nuff said me thinks. Phil
  21. Are these the fly guns which are about £50. It would be handy for the mozzies, now that will be some target, forward allowance on the wing......Oh yeah Phil

I am interested in the Mod you have Pav, is it an Air Fective set up or have you removed the shroud and fitted a mod, if so which one as I am toying with removing the shroud in favour of a mod instead. Phil
  23. I have two of each but use them, you can get them from any Nitesite dealer for £20 which seems bloody expensive for a bit of plastic. Sorry I cant help matey. Phil
  24. As good as any Mitch and not a lot of money for a decent rangefinder. I forgot to mention that I have a 100mt builders tape which I cross checked the Vision King with to make sure it was okay, it was spot on with that odd 1mt +/- tolerance. Phil
