I think Matt has hit the nail on the head because it is vital that a GOOD moisture trap is there otherwise moisture enter the gun.................................rusty rifle quite quickly. Spend the cash and buy a good quality pump or like most of us, an air cylinder, no effort and only a few seconds to do, similar price to a good pump. Phil

Pleased they arrived Si, now make some covers for the wings like I have on mine. At the Northern Shooting Show they will be on sale and I believe they are launching the crow deeks but whilst I know the pigeon work a treat, crows have fantastic eye sight and flock deeks work far better than shiny deeks so it will be interesting to see what they have. It will be handy you have the kids there Si to carry all the new gear.? Phil

Hmmm that should read .............There you go Jon ?

Is this an advert or something else. A price would be useful.

There you Jon, now that's an idea, I can see this becoming a THL venue meet ....................................................................... better get plenty of bacon in Si ? Phil

Thank you Ian for taking the time and trouble to explain, I am most grateful. Phil

Very nicely written post Jimmy. It was good to see you my friend and Trish thought the little Diana was just beautiful (her words not mine). we have been busy in the garden most of the day but tomorrow is time for me to play with that little gun. I will arrange to meet up with Si for some clay shooting at a ground near Hornsea which has the bonus of having one of the best fish n chip shops for many many miles along with some very good shooting...........................................can you get a Friday off Jim. Phil

Wait until you have the Enforcer Bouncer Si, the FF6 will be staying at home if the results are anything like ours although it must be said that they need a bit of wind to really work well, then watch the birds come in. I will also be interested just how many times to lift the gun thinking a woodie was dropping into the pattern, it is a wonder that mine is still in tack as I have thought so many times that it was a real bird. Don't forget the pieces of plastic or wood to keep the wing sections flat as they work much better if you do. Phil

I am sorry to hear this news UD as I believe you are a true country lover enjoying traditional guns. I confess that I have no idea what the law states regarding the use of a slug / ball in muzzle loaders but surely if you check with BASC or the police themselves, make the changes needed to keep inside the law, job done and you carry on as before apart from any change needed regarding the slug / ball. It will be very sad not having you telling your hunting tales with superb photos including your lovely dog. I wish you well and sincerely hope you are able to resolve the issue and stay with

And what a little stunner you have turned the gun into mate. So so pleased with the outcome I am lost for words Jimmy. Phil

I know you have all seen the Diana model 16 photos but I can tell you the pictures do not do it justice so I have just tried to capture the flecking in the wood that Jimmy has managed to bring out. I must say that this little gun is for plinking in the garden with the family BUT there will be hell to pay if anyone doesn't handle this little baby carefully as I intend to make sure she stay as pretty as she is now. Jimmy Double Discharge, you are a star mate. Phil

Thanks Jon and you are right we did have a god day mate. Phil

Our Jimmy in action. Have you got any more photos Si. This was the trap we restored before and after. Phil

Today I had a drive over to Si Browns house in North Yorkshire to have a get together with Si and Jimmy. Superb weather and a very pleasant drive saw me arrive just before 10am, Jimmy was eager and arrived about 7,30am still in his jimjams ?. I had been looking forward to this as Jimmy was bringing down the little Diana Model 16 he had been working on and not forgetting Sean's input as well, my sincere thanks guys because this little gun is nothing short of STUNNING and I am so pleased to own her. The day was not just going to be a chit chat between pals as I was taking a 12gauge shotty

Thank you for the breakdown Ian, I am watching my six numbers very closely..... I must say that WIFI would be useful at times but nothing else and for the most part WIFI is not really of any great importance. Is the XM30 Key cabable of the same sensitivity as the other two models or are we talking about a reduced image range or ability to see quarry. I assume the higher priced models have better optics along with the other bits and pieces. Please forgive my total ignorance here but what is the difference between LCOS eye display and AMOLED eye display. Sorry to be a pain. Phil

What pellets are you using Jeff, the AAFields at 25.4gr are lighter than most and with that in mind at sub 12, they may give slightly better trajectory than others. JSB Kings are the same weight. Let me know if you need a few samples and I will send you some to try. Phil

Nice bit of wood once the dark gloss has been removed. Phil -
Really lovely gun Jeff, I am interested to get your view of the .25 at sub 12 level. Phil

If that is less than a grand, that will be the one.

I was told Ian that Pulsar are about to release a new low cost thermal spotter and I am sure the chap told me it was well under a £1000 or have I got that wrong, which would not be the first time. Phil

The corvids are a real pest at times and confess to popping a few off just recently, very satisfying. Phil

Ditto, although I used to go for 210bar with little difference but no higher. Phil

If you have an airing cupboard, that is good for drying electronics as it is a gentle heat. In the meantime Jimmy, I can send some homing pigeons up for you ?? Phil

Nice going Matt, anyone who is good with the springer has my slight envy...............................................but not Mark.................? ? Phil

Looking at their site, there are a few bullpups in the range and they do look good.
