I popped into my RFD today to pick up some pellets and sat on the display wall was a gun that took my eye, an Air Arms MPR 10 sporter target rifle. https://www.air-arms.co.uk/mpr-series.html This one was far from being standard, with a high tech fully adjustable aluminium shoulder unit, not sure what they are called but not a pad and is the same unit that is fitted to the FTP900 rifle. The standard diopter sights had been replaced with a fantastic set, a hamster was fitted to the underside of the forend and a super dooper match trigger unit from Rowan engineering. The temptation

Oh yes I forgot to say that I did have another look at the HW57 springer and again say this one feels nice in the shoulder although the stocks are a bit crappy but that could be sorted by someone I know further north and the bits inside could be tweeked and tunes by someone else I know so sooner or later, I have to get one........................? Great day yesterday at the show, busy but some good purchases made. Trish and I briefly met up with Jimmy and his son Jamie ( another nice guy), Si and his son and daughter, who I believe were desperate to shoot on the .22lr range, along with one of my lure fishing pals but never saw Rez and he didn't phone to meet up so if you don't want to mix with me Jamie, I understand, after all not many people do ?...............?? yer miserable tart. Yes done both Defra and BASC. I wish I had my camera /zoom lens a few days ago as there is a scarecrow in a field on the edge of our village with around 17 crows sat all around it and within 10-20 feet. I could not have framed it any better and have been back a few times but the crows have not been there whilst I have. Shame Phil

It would need chopping in length and on the side as the 110 and 110k has differences in shaped cut outs to say nothing of a Weihrauch price tag but nevertheless a nice thought. Phil

Yes, slightly smaller than this one but that would be better as Jim was saying he needed to keep the length down to keep clear of the pellet loading so the extra 20mm could make all the difference. Phil

No Sean it is s/h but I confess that I had no idea what price the AO scopes are, much cheaper than the side focus models. I am guessing it is not suitable in that case. Phil

Right guys, my mate has seen a Theoben Evolution .22 gas ram springer and is smitten................. The point of this thread is to ask if they are any good or prone to problems. My friend is going to look at it tomorrow so if I could give him your feedback before he goes, so much the better. Phil

I must admit that I have just one Mamba Lite left which is on my 110k and it suits it well BUT the main problem with them is they are subject to 'white out' and poor in fading light compared to others. I will pop in my rfd this week Jimmy as he has loads of s/h scopes and if anything looks ok, I will pm you. I do know he had two MTC Viper Connect scopes in his collection. Phil

I would not trust Gove for a moment, a sly little twat who deserves to be put in charge. BASC are in the process of writing to every MP in the land to apply pressure to get it sorted. Well I'm not sure that will do any good but for sure it will stir things up even more as the CLA, CA, NFU and a few others are supporting the move. It would not surprise me if a temporary reversal was put into place while this whole mess is sorted so perhaps the 4 new GL policies could be dumped BUT until that happens, the new GLs are in place so I do not see how anyone could be breaking the law by abiding
