  1. He did respond to the HW35 gun sale so perhaps he will again. I have to say it all seems to have happened overnight. One point he is fine and then two very upset members. Give him a little longer to respond and if nothing happens in a week or two, kick him off. Phil
  2. Ah, fair enough Jimmy, I do think they are nice......... Phil
  3. I always consider you lot as friends and whilst nobody has ever ripped me off, I feel a little ashamed of one of our own doing this to others. Bad show me thinks, I hope you get all this sorted Ragz Phil
  4. Mind you big fella, you haven't had one YET so you may get to love the KT Jimmy. ??? Phil
  5. Sean is your Vulcan sub 12 or FAC. If sub 12, what is the range like for a .25 and the trajectory. At fac levels they are superb and often wondered what a sub 12 in .25 would be like. Phil
  6. Whilst I think it is too cramped as a stock, I also like the look of it and fitted to a 110K it might just work out but the scope needs some serious thought, perhaps the Connect or Leapers Bug Buster or the Discovery VT-3 compact scope. It is the sort of thing that if you have it available to play around with, brilliant but not want you want to go and buy on a whim. Interesting idea though albeit cramped up. Phil
  7. It needs an MTC Connect scope but even so it's a bit squashed up Jimmy. Phil
  8. Hey up Mitch, are you back from your holiday already if so that was a quick three weeks. I will say yes please Mitch which will make life a bit easier. Phil
  9. No problem Jimmy. I will send my address via phone. Phil
  10. I am trying to find anywhere that sells one of these. If anyone has one to sell or knows where I can get one please let me know. The one in the photo is used to hold my NV rangefinder so can't use that one. There is a piece of tube in the one shown here so don't be confused. Phil
  11. I have been watching this progress this afternoon with Jimmy sending me photos on the phone but now I can see the piccies in larger format which is great. I have, like the rest of you guys, seen Jimmy's work as it progresses but it is quite different when the gun actually belongs to you so the interest on my behalf is very keen as I want to see the next photo. You are doing a great job my friend, thank you so much. Regards Phil
  12. How are you sending it Mark. I posted mine as fishing equipment in a gun box as the post office have a lovely sign saying no guns posted with them and even though this baby springer is only about 3fpe and not a danger, they would refuse it so I didn't take the chance of that. We only have one post office for about 18 miles in either direction so I don't have alternative places to take it. Phil
  13. Here we go Jimmy, these are the sites which may be handy for reference although I doubt very much you would need them because unlike me, you KNOW what you are doing. http://www.airgunspares.com/store/category/64/791/DIANA-ORIGINAL/Model%2B1%2C%2B15%2C%2B16/ https://www.gunspares.co.uk/products/24365/16/ http://anotherairgunblog.blogspot.com/2013/10/diana-model-16-disassembly-part-1.html http://anotherairgunblog.blogspot.com/search/label/Diana Model 16 I thought I had already posted this but clearly not. Phil
  14. The other 100 on the first page has one of those extension pieces to aid cocking, I had one on mine because when you get used to FX cocking levers, these really help, no fumbling for the lever. I am going to get one for the 110 to see if they fit as they are only made for the 100 so not sure the shape will allow Looking really nice now Jimmy.. Phil
  15. Well it's a shame neither yours nor Sean's worked out for you mate but at least you have something you know you like. Nice bit of wood as well. Phil
  16. You have a serious perm Billy, very nice mate. Phil
  17. Welcome aboard John As you are going into a new avenue of our sport, it would be worth your while whizzing up the M1 / A1 on May 11th or 12th to the Northern Shooting Show at Harrogate show ground as there is an HFT event there every year where sound advice and a chance to try it out. It will give you the chance to look at what kit is being used by other competitors as there is an actual competition taking place at some stage over the weekend. It is a good show and a few of us will be going and meeting up for a bit of banter and look at what we cannot afford. There will be sco
  18. Mr P, something I always suggest is to ask everyone you know , EVERYONE, if they know any farmers, land owners, market gardeners etc etc. Ask for ratting, crows or feral pigeon shooting because many people will be asking for pigeon and rabbits shooting so go for the stuff that people are not wanting. If things go well, you may be able to then get permission to shoot other quarry. This does work, I promise you, it has got me a few perms. In time you will get people contacting you so get some cheap business cards ready to dish out and good luck. Phil
  19. I saw the BSA 'effort' before it was launched and what a crapy badly balanced crock of shite as you will see in May. I have owned two Wildcats which I thought we're a sheer pleasure to own and use. I am still enjoying the 110k, a really nice little gun. I want to try a Vulcan because I have never heard a bad word said about them. Phil
  20. I had a shot at a plastic chewing gum tub at about 20' Deker which it hit but left no mark on the tub so power is super low although it isn't for hunting it is more for just owning and letting my grandson have a shoot with in the garden so the pigeons are safe, from this gun anyway. The one my son had from new was at the ranges he shot from, pretty accurate in that he and I were able to repeatedly hit small 410 empty cases so not a challenge but great fun. Not a split Jimmy just a scratch. I found a site on how to dismantle this gun and spares Jim so later on today I will find them
  21. Further info shows There are two versions of the Model 16, firstly the Milbro Diana made in Scotland and Original Diana made in Germany. I am pretty sure my son's gun was a Milbro to Diana. All interesting stuff Phil
