  1. Oh my lord Rez, that is beyond a joke. I think 13 pages per perm is crazy but I suppose they want to put people off and will not go down well with shooters and farmers. I think I will print a few off and slowly digest it all because i am slow.................. Phil
  2. We can fight but don't think BASC are out of the picture, they were only advised about the decision today so what could they have done........................I repeat, there has been no discussion outside the government office so let us give them a chance and after all they are the largest body representing the shooting man. If they can stand up to be counted and get this rescinded, every member of this forum should be a member and give them the funds to keep on fighting. Phil
  3. Well, I have just completed the complaints section of Natural England's actions so it will be interesting to see what happens if vast numbers of people actually get off their arses and actually try to do something. Having said all that hot air, I really do believe that there have to be some changes to this decision but be prepared to apply for a license to cover you which may well have to list all the perms and crop information so in other words another long winded paperwork trail.................................sounds a bit like the farce of air gun licenses. To be very honest, we have
  4. I totally understand where you are coming from but this is not over because they have only listened to this complete and utter idiot who simply doesn't know anything about the issues that face farmers each and every year with crop damage.....................................................the Government are about to be bombarded with facts being thrown at them from many sides regarding crop losses. Link this to the fact that we are close to leaving the EU with no deal and if ever we needed to have a strong and effective farming industry, it is now. It may well be that the GL is gone but I am
  5. I am inclined to agree with Matt here and as it was only announced at 3.30pm BASC have had no time to do anything as yet plus the CLA will be up in arms and the farmers union plus the young farmers association so there is a lot of shall we say nice conversations to be had during the coming days and weeks. The gun trade will no doubt be making their case well and truly felt and the loss of another industry all due to some fcuking wanker of a tree hugger.......................watch this space guys. Phil
  6. NO Jimmy you can't say that mate, you may not like the look of the 110k but you have not used one to draw an accurate conclusion. It may be that they are not as good as the Ultra but I think you will find they are both good guns..................old tart. Phil
  7. John Bowkett is your man on these guns, call him for a chat on 0121 745 4287. I have been told he is not a computer man so don't send emails, use the phone and call him. There isn't anything he does not know about these guns and my rfd has just had two returned from him after a tune, spot on. Hope that helps. Phil
  8. I would not have expected anything less from your crew Billy, well done mate. Phil
  9. Must admit, I love shooting pigeon, crows and rats round the farms I have but to be honest, you are a bit too far for me to do the job properly. A very nice gesture and I hope you find a suitable person. Phil
  10. Ahhh the memory has not completely failed yet then Si. ? Phil
  11. I recall someone on here who bought the Kral Puncher and no matter how much time and effort into getting it right, he said it was crap and I think he gave it to someone. It may have been Jimmy / bigmac97 Never tried one but have heard loads of good feedback on the P15 rifles and a good price. Phil
  12. Well it was a good deal Jamie but not what you were wanting ?. Never mind it will be fun watching you squirm at the Northern show trying to justify why you need the 110k as well. ? Phil
  13. Yes it is one of the original Mamba Lite scopes. It is a .22 which is not my favoured cal but as I wanted this guns for closer range ratting and feral pigeon shooting, the .177 just passes straight through the quarry hence the use of .22 in that type of shooting, if I was out on the rabbits, it would be .177 in sub 12 but as I use .25 FAC I have no need for a .177 now. Phil
  14. Well there is a s/h 110k in my rfd as the owner decided to buy another in .22 or .177, sorry I cannot remember which one is in the shop but I have a feeling it is .177 and that was about £650 ish. It is fair to say there are points on both guns which will give someone a major benefit but that depends on what the individual wants. For example, buy a s/h good Ultra and tune it to death with bigger air cylinder etc but Villaman / Mitch is far better placed than me to advise what can be done. The HW110k is a finished product and although I have one, I cannot tell you IF any tuning is pos
  15. Good going Mitch. I have to agree with Jimmy, it would be a big mistake to sell the ultra after having it tuned to perfection....................................................just buy the HW110k because you like it and keep the Ultra mate. Now then Mitch it's only a few weeks to the Northern Shooting Show so are you going to give the petrol guzzler a run up to Gods county and join in with these lovely fellows of the forum, oh yes and Rez is coming ? Drywall screws.....................blimey, I thought they were snow grips left over from winter. ? Phil
  16. As soon as they are available in .25, I will get some for sure.
  17. Interesting Mitch, it sounds like a shorter range pellet but wonder how the accuracy is at fac level long distance. From what I saw there, I don't think I would bother with sub 12 as the spread is very little. Phil
  18. Now then Rez, do you want to meet up tomorrow (Thursday) evening to borrow my 110k Phil
  19. A hell of a good price for your buyer. Phil
  20. There will be game feeders as well as squirrel feeders but thanks for the tip Mitch. Phil
  21. Feeders will be installed for next season Dave and that is for certain. Pheasants are roosting in the trees so a captive audience. Phil
  22. A little while ago I posted about a new but small perm with a serious rabbit issue and also mentioned at the time that there was a tree filled quarry on the perm. Today, my shooting partner and I went to do a few tests on his rimfire and as it was such a lovely day, I took a few piccies for you all. The ivy on the ground is covered with pigeon crap so it is well used. The quarry sides are steep and about 50-70' high so very limited as to where and how you get in but we think it is going to offer some good sport over the coming months and of course in the winter when the trees are bare, there a
