Aye sort off i just give it a few goes on a file type Sharpener. Makes the job so much easier.

No time for box sitting need to be up and at them lol nah ive used both main thing put me off the bags is ferrets not bieng secure and clambering on eachother but id use it for a single ferret no problem.

Try n get bigger steel bbs if you can i find they shoot abit better with them tubes ??

Make yourself a smallish box to go in the bottom of a rucksack be alright for a single bitch ferret. Hope your keeping alright mush ??

Id love one for the odd bit of ferreting and running in tight grassy places. Do many folks get through the season with just the one giving them a few runs here and there ?

The cheap ones off ebay. Try one of them lee moulds and tell me its not wuick i thought the same but they are decent. I also got a 12 shot new forest mould but prefer to use the lee moulds in all honesty. Or just buy hexnuts n pour lead in the middle lol

Dont bother with the fishing mould there crap. Get yourself one of them two shot lee moulds with the futter built in

Spot on that is i used to proper look into feeding now its decent complete mixed a cheaper one whatever meat is available couple times a week normally lamb or chicken with a few hares trout or bruised venison chucked in. Feeding wont make a bad dog good seen dogs run well on just complete n odd table scraps.

Aye that fair enough easier n harder spots up and down wasmt saying ever rabbit that bolts should be whipped up by a 3/4 collie but its clear many use the place to get rabbits infront of a young dog.

If you took the same lurcher with the same feller lamping south one night then north where would you be expecting the bigger bag of rabbits? Not saying they all dead easy but like socks said everyone south seems to use a day up north for starting pups or as a little hunting holiday.

Aye a team of keen men and nets getting stuck into them hedgerows be some good numbers i expect. But i know and have walked out with lads that have been north and done 100 rabbits lamping although the numbers must help them drystone walls and that hilly grass must also help surely ? I dont know as never been north for rabbits.

Very true that is know folks going north n taking bags of 100+ dont hear many people doing that down south.
