    Allways liked the looks of them old school shepherds that look like they should be chained up out the way somewhere. Some of the small athletic presa are nice too but dont think youll beat a dog thats well conditioned for hes job dont matter the breed bull terrier greyhound hounds ect.

    In this weather i will go and find my dogs a few retrieves out of the water early mornings or evenings is the time to get away with it.

    Same as on the lamp happy with a dozen or so then start wondering to other things. Had some great craic with the spaniel n lurcher team daytime aswell as bolting to the dogs.

    Aye but i think in all fairness bully maybe been used abit more ? I dont think your go far wrong with either them. Or maybe chuck a fast lamping dog on the pure for a kill a couple anywhere type.

    I would struggle to look past him bully or rover. Seen some smashing offspring around out of these. Seen a bitch out of digger sometimes youve just got to put her away she makes the job look easy.

    The best bit of fun about is a good bull cross. Id own another one out of tested dogs in a heartbeat. Alot of lads let them get to fat and dont strip them down enough get them right n they alright.

    I like opinels used a good few but found they snapped n if got wet the handle would swell.

    Aye thats why i think it can be worth waiting sometimes unless you knwo the blood and dogs well. You get some dogs that have had alot of work get to about 4-5 and start hesitating or running half hearted on stuff near hedges and cover or wanting to run thing for abit and missing opportunities for a strike. Deffo worth giving them abit of time to see how they really pan out unless you know the dogs well

    Think that stuff in the picture is out of pets at home but i can get some decent minced tripe of a mate. Can get it mixed with salmon aswell. One thing i will try this winter is someone i know doing green tripe biscuit £20 for 15kg i think. If it keeps a back on a dog then ill maybe use that ever the winter especially for the spaniel.Odd bit of ultimate oil over the top n thats them.

    Out of everything i wish i could get a steady source of fresh green tripe locally. Unfortunately dogs have to make do with the minced shite.

    Sort of shit i feed. Bit of greyhound mix in there aswell. Used to feed alot of chicken carcass but find this stuff we get doesnt seem to have that much on it. That with plenty of trout chucked down whole few eggs a week and bit of added fat and lamb wintertime. Basically whatever can be got cheap or free lol.

    Some will never put there lurcher up for public stud. To me when something gets popular its starts going downhill. I only keep lurcher dogs and im lucky ive access to abit of running so ive been asked a few times its not often ill say yes. Youll find alot of times people will use a dog hoping to fix bad traits in a bitch that doesnt work either best to breed strength to strength not to weaknesses

    No i know lads that have and had over hundred rabbits lamping in a night one with a dog coming back from injury. But still Some doing for such a small racy bitch in that time scale.

    Lamping dog that had abit of stick to well bred coursing bitch black neck. Its ok for a sport dog nothing too special.

    Aye must be different gotta be honest though its not sommat id waste my time too look for ugly mongrel things. To me them mals are sleeve mad kennel wreckers but id still take one over them shitty white things.
