    One of the best dogs I’ve ever seen is half ebt from an accidental breeding. The dog will do anything it’s asked. Wish I could find another half as good

    Darker colours allways seem stronger even in same thickness and taper don’t they. I’ve been shooting some precise gold in 1mm absolutely rubbish would not reccomend

    I’ve a bitch if fed chicken same sort of thing happens. I jabbed her with dex and stopped feeding it not had any problems since.

    Little evening walk with a new bushing terrier shot a couple of geese and a squirrel too hot for anything else little 10mm leads are magic really enjoying them

    Yes I’d very much agree. The difference in the 1.1mm and the 1mm was enormous performance wise yet you wouldn’t believe it on paper. mr Wilkes you ever tried tapered tubes ? I cant remember where I used to get them but they were very consistent but I found you had to choose pouch and tying material carefully

    I have been shooting a real good flat bad I think it’s catty shack red shot 25-20 for 12mm steel or 20 straight cut for anything smaller it’s brilliant stuff I’ve not seen a flatband come close to it for longevity and power the 1.1 was better again seemed stretchier

    I knew someone was going to ask me mate buys a tonne of different tubes off that Ali express some are good some ain’t I know the stuff I’m shooting at the minute is 5080 you will get odd fliers but it me got some speed. the only downside I can say is on the little leads if your shooting stuff infront of dogs in bramble the shot doesn’t quite punch through like a 12mm or 14mm and where they are so small it’s hard to see ya shot and adjust how your shooting

    I’m shooting some 10mm leads at the moment very pleased with them shoot like bullets couple pics the antler set was kindly gifted to me by a member off here the white handles set is a child’s elaphant ivory set.

    What you tying them with mate ? I like the constrictor knot with waxed thread for that reason if there gonna snap they seem to go where they been tied rather than at the fork coming back at you. good bit of shooting with the light stuff

    Exactly it’s all relative to what you keep your own dogs for a goodun on boar be useless for someone that don’t go for them wouldn’t it. a dog will know he’s gonna have a rough time of it eventually. Not all them things run away.

    I’m not saying all boar are hard and all dogs that grab them are but when you find a good boar that ain’t frightened of your dog in daylight on his own they ain’t shit

    I hear what ya saying but no fox has ever killed a dog infront of its owner have it. You might go and catch 20 boar and not meet a good one but when you do you’ll know about it.

    I seen a good one a little while back a feller called charles beaty hed kill trophy whitetail on the big private ranches of southern texas. You can just tell by how he talks about it he lived and breathed it for a good chunk of hes life.

    Is it the x20 ? The garmin mini are brilliant i wouldnt get rid of it for a dogtrace but if i lost me garmin tomorrow id happily go out and buy the dogtrace

    Couldnt agree more. Might change for me with age but cant see it. Im friends with alot of people that dont hunt but not many pals that are not into horses dogs or birds in some sort of way.
