The area i lived in used to be quite good for rabbits with regular teams of lads ferreting and that now i know hardly anyone who keeps ferrets. And thing is there bieng hit from all angles lamping with dogs and guns thermal and nitevision desease its not looking good for them but ive a feeling theyll make a recovery eventually.

Ah right i thought it was a coursing type animal. Bit of bad luck with thre dam there i seen a couple of wooly and rough coursing types theres a young dog ive seen a couple times hes a lovely type of animal seen a few from ireland that were wooly aswell all seemed fast and aggressive. Id like to see a nice rough lurcher type to a good coursing dog said it a few times now

GL try cooking your pheasant wrapped in lamb breast transforms it in my opinion. I eat far too much beef could eat sirloin steak on a slightly fried bit of bread with stilton chips and eggs most days ??

Thoroughly enjoying the season had a good few bits got a number to hit before Christmas day ill be ready for some nice relaxing away days running stuff i dont normally get runs at and running different ground. Then my dogs got a couple bitches to serve and fingers crossed i get myself a pup i like from him.

If you dont mind stainless steel take a look at the jack pyke coppice knife its cheap can be opened with one hand and is easily sharpened with one of them blade-tech type sharpeners.

Blitz variable or striker variable depending on a couple things all the better with a filter fitted. I know some folks really rate the leds but never got on with em myself. -
So it not tipping the odds in your favour like doubling up or lamping ? Not axactly cheating no. And as for number of hares dont worry about that theres plenty of they and other stuff where im from and i didnt kill one in the snow ??

I honestly dont care what you think you stick to making an opinion on things without seeing em with your own two eyes ill stick to getting out with a few folk up n down and working dogs.

See what your saying but weve all seen em run doubled or in the lamp its no different to running them in snow is it ? Why is it ok to catch rabbits fox n deer in the snow but not hares ? Makes no difference to me we had hardly any where i am.

Could be wrong but i seen a few clips of the dog running in normal conditions think it done ok but what can u tell from a few clips. The only thing i think is wrong is that hes saying 3/3 its not its killing hares in the snow but all you lads saying its disrespectful and all that must never have used a net a lamp ferret or ever run anything doubled aye ?
