    Worse than rape or maize stubble is that funny bamboo stuff planted as game cover. Now that will spike a dog up. Run rape and maize i just try not to make a habit of it.

    Yeah seen a collie fully trained like any half decent shepherd. I reckon one of them ozzie cattle dogs x bull be a tasty thing.

    Not got a clue whod have better im not into bite dogs like that just spent a fair bit of time around people that are mad into it. When a dogs sold as police trained i get the impression it wouldnt make it for anything else. Sure others will have a different opinion but thats mine. When you understand how these bite dogs work youll see alot of dogs that aint as impressive as you first thought.

    Most police dogs aint worth a rub dont judge someone on the fact there dogs go into police or prison roles it means nowt some dogs in these roles are from pet homes.

    They just another dog. I see folk all the time walking mals and herders like they got a bengal tiger on the end of the lead. Just knock em abit and keep em mad on a ball or sommat if u aint workinging em there ok. Alot of people who use dogs in a serious way dont like tha malis for there own reasons the two ive liked most was x shepherd

    i got a dog ferret work it collared dug to it a couple times just under the turf ferret wont stay with a rabbit very long at all its handy to have tbh had a couple ferrets similar you can walk places without a spade dog marks drop ferret in sit on box and just go about like that. You can go without a locator if you just out for sport but chances are you will come unstuck eventually. Never had a ferret sleep if it done that on me it wouldnt be coming home.

    Is there not a couple herds of riendeer in uk ? I think we alot luckier than most know game wise and what we can support.

    Fair play jcm u seem to put the time in. Got a young dog in out every morning with letting it hunt up on the grass and in the woods looks well cantbwait for some stubbles.

    Seen a couple of them nighthunter whippets both would pull up at the second spot was strange if you walked the first area they seem ok caught a few made some nice catches but as soon as ya put em in the motor to run elsewhere theyd flat out refuse rabbits on the end of there nose.

    No need to get defensive feller wasnt judging. Ive found alot of bull greyhound here are kept too heavy and trimmed down they have enough speed but do fade if goes on abit. Bull and greyhounds top of the tree when we talk canine athletes

    I dont rate the smaller stuff myself unless its for squrriels or rats the rabbits can take a good sting at the best of times let alone using smaller ammo

    At the same time tho alot of dogs look keen when they aint seeing much but when they gotta do more than a couple a week they dont look half as good. That dog that wants it will go off abd find it if its there to be found

    Tbh i dont see breeding a litter as having to sell sommat they should sell em selves. Dog worlds small enough someone somewhere knows someone. Thing i dont like to see with these internet litters theres like weekly updates alot of talk about doing this or that then about 9-10 month old mark all goes quiet. Ive also done the thing of taking pups off someone and as pups are getting older you find u and the feller bred em got very different ideas on a decent dog. But you live and learn i suppose. never bred a litter of lurchers but if i do id like to hear the negatives of what ive pro
